Spondylus lodge was one of my best accommodations in South America so far! I had a private room; good price, very spacey with own balcony. Comfortable bed and good AC! Free coffee in the morning and filtered water. 5 min walk to the beach. Big common areas and a good common kitchen. The place was very very clean. Staff was nice and helpful! Very quite and tranquil. would def recommend!

Vistamar is a special place with incredible views and such a homely, peaceful and cozy vibe! I could have happily stayed here for several weeks instead of just 6 days, and am already thinking of returning as soon as possible! The room was large and had a lot of storage space, and the bed was super comfy. I loved the shared kitchen/garden/chill out space downstairs, as well as the spacious rooftop deck that's used for yoga classes in the mornings. The beach and some very cool bars, cafes and restaurants are only a few minutes walk away. The optional meals at Vistamar (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are a nice touch, and are fresh, local and healthy!

Very positive vibes❤️ felt like coming home! a beautiful place with so much love for details. The staff is so friendly, helpful and just lovely - they really want you to enjoy your time in Ayampe and feel comfortable. Rooms are great and don’t get me started on the breakfast-very yummy!!! Highly recommended!
