We had an amazing 2 nights at the lodge celebrating my 60th birthday. It was everything we hoped for and more. The staff were brilliant and even made me a cake! The food was good and the setting is just superb. I’ll definitely return when I get the chance.

When we arrived at Niebli farm, we were impressed by the green landscape that surrounds this 300 ha-farm. Cristina, the owner, received us with a warm welcome and her staff was very friendly and always helpful. They did their utmost best to make our stay unforgettable. As there were no places to eat nearby, we had lunch, dinner and breakfast on-site. The food was delicious and we had access to an unlimited tea/coffee station. After we came back from one of the hiking trails Cristina gave us a very interesting tour about the history of the farm. Unfortunately, the night sky was not clear so we decided not to make use of the camp fire that they offered to set for us. Our room was exactly the same like in the pictures. We had everything we needed: a shower with constant hot water, wifi and a good bed with a duvet instead of many layers of fleece blankets. The room was also equipped with a kettle, microwave and a fridge. Everything was very clean and the decor of the room was of high standard.. The beautiful surroundings and the lovely people at Niebli farm made us enjoy each single moment of our stay.

Interiors were beautiful and so was the setting. Breakfast on the terrace was memorable. Quiet and serene environment.

We enjoyed the nice place near the river (also if you don’t book a river house, there is a common space at the river). The staff was very friendly and we felt really welcome. The smaller rooms are perfect for cat lovers, there are 3 nice cats waiting to be petted. WiFi was good in the house, but not at the river. There is good LTE reception though. The breakfast was delicious, after months of having bread and jam it was nice to have a Syrian breakfast and excellent Arabic coffee with cardamom. We sometimes walked the half hour to Mindo, which feels safe, even at night. When it rained we took a taxi for about 3 or 4 dollar.

The Temple II, Mindo is located in Mindo. Each accommodation at the 3-star hotel has mountain views, and guests can enjoy access to a garden and to barbecue facilities.

Great location within 10 Minutes walking distance to the village. The room was very big and the beds super comfy. Paola is a great host and knows a lot what to do in Mindo. You can see a lot of colibris around the house and if you are lucky can spot the Tucans. :-) We would definitly come again.

Pao and Hari are wonderful hosts and this eco lodge was so comfortable and relaxing to stay at. My room was very big and spotlessly clean, and i also had a private balcony area and even gym equipment. The garden and surroundings are beautiful and Mindo is just a short walk away. Everything about the stay is designed to relax and destress you :) I liked it so much that I am staying with them again soon!!

The hotel is in a beautiful setting and the view from our balcony of the forest was amazing. We saw toucans right outside our room, as well as a range of other birds. The staff were very kind and friendly, and were incredibly patient with our very limited Spanish, giving us a good opportunity to practice the little Spanish we know. Don't worry if you don't speak Spanish, everyone who worked there was really willing to put the effort into communicating and making sure we understood, using Google Translate when needed. Breakfasts were delicious! We had a great time staying in the very peaceful environment!
