I am lost at words for how much I enjoyed my short stay at Cafour house. To begin, I was upgraded to a private room during my stay here. It felt like staying at my close family’s house. Abdu took care of every requirement. the food especially breakfast was amazing. Special emphasis to the beans. The best part was that you do not have to make any plans before arriving in Siwa . Abdu and his amazing team will take care of your itinerary. We had a great time visiting the old city, the salt lakes and the Sahara desert. Hakam is your go to the best tour guide of the secrets of Siwa oasis. There are three beautiful pools in Cafour. My favourite was the natural Hot spring. I also need to explain how helpful everybody was when I had an emergency. Due to no reason, my bus company cancelled the return ticket to Cairo in the last minute. Abdu stepped in to help, and he used his contacts to secure me a last-minute bus ride to Cairo. If he had not done this, I would have missed my flight back to London. Thank you so much for every thing guys. I am very sure that I would return so that I can spend longer time here.

I absolutely loved the magical moments of stargazing at midnight from the hot spring within the lodge. The night sky was simply out of this world (literally), with shooting stars making a spectacular show. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, particularly Lamia, the owner who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The local staff Khaled, Domom, Mohamed were very kind, generous and attentive. The cleanliness and tidiness of the accommodation exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was a delightful with fresh local ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the traditional siwan tea. The morning meal was served in a peaceful setting within a big dom, quite the place. The location of the ecolodge provided a perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. I totally recommend, and definitely will love to visit again.

Outstanding, cheerful service from the minute I arrived. Breakfast was varied, delicious and generous. I love the land they have, and it’s only a 15 minute walk from the centre. The pool is ideal for cooling off from the sun, and there is a lovely traditional tent you can sit in too. Internet is adequate for emails.

The host is a kind hearted retired captain who is super welcoming, and makes an amazing breakfast! The garden around the house is beautiful with huge palm trees and different fruit trees. Only 5 minutes by foot from the loud and bustling city center lies Paloma lodge & camp with a huge garden full of palm trees. Here it is calm and peaceful. I love the garden and the outside sitting areas. I am vegan and everyday an abundant vegan breakfast was served for me - absolutely delicious! The owner, 'Captain' Nayer, always made sure that I have everything I need and I felt really taken care of. He's the most amazing host! He also creates spaces for the guests to connect and do activities together e. g. through having breakfast together or through sitting around the bonfire in the evening. Also the other staff members are so warm-hearted and I felt immediately like a member of the 'Paloma Family'. It was truly an amazing experience, Siwa in general is a wonderful place as well, and instead of staying for a week, I ended up staying for a month. I'm also pretty sure that I'll come back ;) the value you get for your money at Paloma Camp is absolutely fantastic.
