This is a beautiful, well maintained traditional basque house in a central and very elegant neighbourhood of Irun. Our charming hostess, Romy, runs the place efficiently and has all your needs covered. I only wish we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy the suite and the serenity of the location.

One of the best hotel experiences we have had so far! The place is very cozy and unique, you get a jungle feeling when you get there (lots of greens around!). Excellent location with a great restaurant across the street. They gave us a very warm welcome together with our dog, who received some treats at the arrival. The biggest asset of this place - people, the staff- the receptionist lady was exceptional, took a great care of us in a very frustrating situation (our car broke down on o trip of 3000km). We really felt the hospitality was beyond expectations, we felt like home. A big thank you 🙏🏻

    Location, helpful friendly staff, comfortable and clean. Pet friendy, with cafe area where dogs are permitted. Breakfast big selection. Exceptional value for money. Easy to find, petrol station next door. Normally, we stay at another hotel nearby, that is much more expensive and doesn't serve food or drink at night, but it was full. We will book Urdaniba in future would highly recommend

    Our third stay here. Always great! Good value-money. The food at their restaurant was also very good, we ate the steak and it was cooked perfectly. Super pet-friendly, the cat loves it and is very clean.

    Location on the Spanish/French border very close to the main driving route. Restaurant open in the evening til 10.30 for drinks and home cooked comfort food. Booked with only 2 hours notice via Booking.com once we had gauged our end driving time. We didn`t have our dogs on this occasion, but it is pet friendly, and secure, free parking was a bonus for not having to totally empty the car.
