welcoming owners on site but not in your space. Peaceful and surrounded by wildlife and nature. eg: hares, deer, pheasants , squirrels and rabbits . The apartment was historic, and modern all at once .lots of History attached to Cockayne Hatley hall . we slept like babies in the quietness of the countryside . This place is so beautiful I would recommend to anyone wanting a getaway weekend . something different .

We were able to bring the dog and it was a nice big space, the garden was beautiful. Lovely and quiet, plenty of fields to walk in nearby. Graham was lovely, he messaged on the day to check we had we had everything we needed. He left us alone until we were leaving, to check were ok, but had we needed anything we had his phone number and he was close by. It was clean and comfortable, a lovely place to stay and definitely a place we’ll return back to!

Katie and Gary were amazing hosts. They went out of their way to obtain a baby gate the day of arrival which provided comfort to us since this is a loft and we were traveling with a 2 year old. They also provided us with coffee pods when we ran out and ziplock bags when traveling home. Our family lives in the village and the location was a 2 minute walk to my in-laws. We will be back and we will be booking again!

Location was great, short walk into the centre of town. You have the place to yourself, a home from home, everything is provided - bedding, towels, toilet rolls, crockery, microwave, toaster, washing machine, etc. Just bring fresh food and your own toiletries etc. Parking space is directly outside, fab. I don't have a dog, but apparently other people stay here with them quite comfortably. Host is easy to contact and helpful. Forgot to add, the shower is great, better than mine at home
