we just thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view from the back window is something else, we enjoyed watching the lambs play each evening, the farmer moved some newly born calves into the field for us aswell. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Plenty to do in the area.

Great location and a great pub. Nice atmosphere, both inside the pub and outside in the beer garden. Very friendly owners and staff, and nice food. Great to try their own beers! The pub is located less then 5 min from the old castle making it ideal to go there for walks.

    Relaxing stay in Willow Lodge with the family (3 adults, 2 kids (6 and 9) ) and two dogs in a remote area. The lodges are very spacious and comfortable and we all loved the hot tub and sauna. We also took advantage of having a mobile maseusse which was great. The owners were very quick to reply to any concerns raised and communication before hand was very good.

    The house was perfect thank you. It was absolutely gorgeous! Everything was clean, super soft bed, lounge was comfy, Netflix on the tvs, the blankets they provided definitely were not needed as it was boiling! 😂 we thought it was cute as they had kids toys, books, games and cards and doggie treats, lead bed etc. catered for all and ideal location next to the shops too! Would move there if I could!!

    Lovely pub, very friendly & helpful staff, brilliant food (we had dinner there and a full breakfast). We were a bit late arriving due to traffic but they kept the kitchen open another 15minutes for us which was really appreciated. The room was a good size and comfortable. Lovely location on the Welsh borders at the foothill of the Shropshire Hills. Dog friendly in the pub and rooms with a charge of £10 per pet per stay.

    Absolutely beautiful! Lovely, remote location. Perfect place to take our dog, he’s very nervous so a more private location was great, we barely saw anyone but those we did were really friendly. Easy to locate, self check-in was really straight forward and more than we could have asked for after a horrid drive!
