Well what can we say just awesome, having family in Portpatrick Hill Street Cottage was the best stay we have had for our trip ,for comfort , location ,so relaxing and exceptionally clean and most welcoming on our arrival, everything you need for your stay,and the best cosy beds for a good sleep,our little chihuahua Harley had a very lovely time and a most secure garden for him we wish had had a longer stay.

* The staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a seamless experience on check-in (even though we arrived at the hotel at night time) & check-out, we were informed of everything we needed to know. * We stayed at the standard double room, which was perfectly comfortable and super spacious - apart from the bedroom and the bathroom, there was a sitting room. * We found the hotel gorgeous, with a nice vintage touch. The restaurant had spectacular views, there was a bar, a lounge, and a sitting area at the guests' disposal. * Parking was on-site and free of charge. * WiFi was okay, streaming was possible. * We loved the hotel's scenic location on top of a cliff, overlooking the village. It's also right there on a hiking trail, so we were able to plan that on our getaway. Great network coverage too, I was sharing data from my phone in order to work and the connection was very stable. * The food was excellent. The full breakfast was very filling; sides were offered, too. We also booked dinner on one evening and loved it, the salmon in particular tasted very fresh. * Dog-friendly :) we saw many pups in all areas of the hotel.

Little Ireland is a gem of a property, a great find for us and our 2 dogs who were also right at home here. The house is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean (we would easily have believed we were the first people to have stayed due to the high standard of maintenance). The lovely hosts really have thought of everything, providing all we needed for a fabulous stay. They were also so helpful and when we messaged with a query they replied with an answer straight away. There was so much space for us all and we had a fabulous time (also really enjoyed a lovely meal in Papa Rab's!) Thank you for a great stay, we wouldn't hesitate to book again!

    Apartment was nice and big. Tv not working but attended to immediately. Would stay in apartments again when visiting with family but we are also coming back as a couple to a double room again as we love the location, the price and the fact that it's so dog friendly.

    Brilliant location, right on the harbour front, amazing views! Dog friendly rooms and dining if required. Also somewhere to dine without dogs. Staff were super friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. There was entertainment Friday/Saturday night. Good breakfast selection of hot and cold with plenty tea/coffee and fresh juice.

    Extremely efficient and friendly staff. Very dog friendly. Had a superb evening meal in the bar with our dog. Breakfast was excellent too. There is a garden with a good lawn for the dog. Our room was lovely with a harbour view and the bed was large and very comfy. The ensuite was really nice and well laid out. A lovely location right on the front. We parked easily on the road. A really great hotel.

    Hotel's location is wonderful. Proximity to the wee village was ideal. Room was large and very comfortable and our view was stunning. Lovely bar and restaurant spaces were also very nice. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Lovely cooked breakfast. VERY dog friendly. Thankyou for a lovely stay.
