What a wonderful place. Fantastic location and outstanding views over the Aegean Sea. The hosts were very helpful and kind to us. We loved the decoration of the house and the paintings really added to it. There were thoughtful touches such as toothpaste, toothbrushes. The house is located along one of the hiking routes of Andros and we loved our hikes and our daily walks to the beach of Agios Petros and the port of Gavrio. We didn’t want to leave.

The breakfast included was amazing, it was prepared by hand every morning, and we were surprised with different greek specialties every morning. The location is stunning, really close to the beach and with amazing views from the included terrace.

Perfect location to access the sandy beaches across the street. We spent all our time at Kaliva Beach Lounge. Miss Irene was warm and welcoming and provided a great breakfast every morning. Each day was something new- a special bread or a different egg dish. They really do make an effort for a nice start to the day.

The house has a beautiful terrace with comfortable chairs and eating facilities as well as a very well equipped barbecue. We were there during the incredible heatwave but the house itself remained relatively cool as it is in stone. There is a lovely breeze as it is slightly at altitude. We were a mixed group of people, one couple, a child and 3 individuals and we never felt cramped or on top of one another as it is a very spacious house. Main bathroom had a nice shower and was spacious. There are insect screens on all windows and doors which is also so important

We had an amazing time at Hotel Mare Vista in Batsi. From the moment we arrived, Sofia and the whole team made us feel so welcome. They were always around if we needed anything, super professional, kind and warm. The hotel itself has a really nice, slightly vintage vibe — very clean, comfortable, and full of charm. Our room was spacious and cool, and the view from the balcony was just stunning, looking out over the sea and the old town of Batsi. The location is also perfect: quiet but close to everything. Kolona Beach is just a short walk away, and it’s honestly a hidden gem. Crystal clear water, not too crowded, we loved it. We absolutely recommend this place and will definitely come back if we’re in Andros again. Huge thanks to Sofia and the team for making our stay so special!
