The location is excellent, the guide for the tour is from the local community, the hostess is fantastic company, the place allows for proper wind down. You are a bit off the beaten track but not so much to make it difficult. The staff communicates excellently about this and arranges for a guide to pick you up for the 30min (easy) hike to the hostel. We extended our stay, that’s how much we liked it.

A little gem. I above all loved the atmosphere of this place and the staff working there. They were so friendly, interesting and helpful. It was the perfect environment to chill but also to chat and exchange stories with the staff and fellow travelers. The garden is absolutely beautiful. They have different choices for food at reasonable prices. It is located about 40 min walk from the unique reserve of Semuc Champey. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit rustic but I knew that when I booked and I wanted this kind of experience.

I love this place. Cool vibes and nature gets together over there. I love the bar and the staff. There is no open kitchen but they helped us out to set barbecue and they also provide food. The rooms has a rusty feeling but its better cause everything is in harmony with nature in this place. No noise so you can enjoy the sound of birds.
