It was incredible to find such a comfortable villa in such a wild location. The villa is not big, but it has everything you need. You can tell it was made with a lot of love and care. They even provide robes, slippers, breakfast items, and a fully stocked minibar, which is so convenient since there are no shops within walking distance. The location is unique, with a stunning view of the rice terraces—no houses in front, offering complete seclusion and privacy. There are no tourists around, so you get to experience Bali in its untouched beauty. We were welcomed so warmly, and they prepared an incredible surprise that I will remember for the rest of my life. There was a bird in a cage, which we were asked to set free as a symbol of liberation. It was so unexpected, yet so beautiful and moving! Another amazing thing was that you can walk down to the river and wander through the rice fields completely alone. The energy there is something else—I've never felt anything like it anywhere else! I left feeling rejuvenated in both body and soul. I fell in love with this place forever!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gempinis Coffee Shop and Villa in Bali, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa itself is a stunning blend of traditional Balinese design and modern comfort, creating a serene oasis that truly felt like a home away from home. Every detail, from the luxurious amenities to the breathtaking views, was meticulously crafted to enhance the stay. The staff at Gempinis Coffee Shop and Villa were exceptional. Their warmth and attentiveness made me feel incredibly welcome and well cared for throughout my visit. The hosts were incredibly friendly and warm-hearted. Putu shared a lot of knowledge with us – we are very grateful for that; it was truly enriching. A special highlight was the food: the cook, Putu’s wife, prepared every meal with great care and love. It was not only delicious and healthy, but also very diverse – we enjoyed every meal

This is such a peaceful place to stay. I enjoyed listening to the birds, frogs and the stream. The interior is a very simple, traditional style. I slept very soundly here!

The absolute most amazing view I have ever seen in my life. The place, whether it is raining or sunny is just perfect. Don't worry about the drive there, it is okay, the roads are all tarred and you just drive with some confidence. The staff are great, happy, helpful, informative. I cannot recommend this place enough for a couple to visit. It's just fantastic. Go and try for yourself.

The location is very high up in the mountains, many beautiful rice fields on the way. Beautiful scenery of sunset in front of the villa and sunrise behind the villa but covered by trees. The food is limited but very delicious. Adi our host was very welcoming and was very attentive when we brought up any issues.

    The Eco Lodge is in a pretty and remote location on the slopes of Batukaru volcano. The cottages are dotted around lush gardens growing fruit and herbs. Our cottage had a shady terrace to relax on. There’s a really excellent restaurant serving local specialities, a freshwater swimming pool and some comfy places to sit. From the lodge there are excellent guided walks into the plantations, rainforest and temples.
