Honest review from last week (and I dont normally write reviews) - including reference to other comments here which made us not 100% if we should book: The best hotel we stayed in our 4 week trip by far! The hotel is cozy, the staff is amazing and super friendly and the villas are just stunning and so homey. The hotel EXCEEDED our expectations by so much. To the negative comments other people gave: 1. the distance to get there: My comment - On the island to move around you need to take a bike regardless of where you are. Mayo is located right in the middle so super central no matter what you want to do (beach, snorkelling, food). I really enjoyed the bike rides 2. The loud mosque: My comment - mayo is actually quite far away from them compared e.g. the city center. Yes you can hear the mosque in the morning, but this is the whole island. If you are scared that you dont like this fact you maybe should look for another island. All in all we really enjoyed our stay at this cozy hotel. Thanks to all this amazing staff and hope to see you again soon.

Outstanding Stay on Gili Trawangan We had an absolutely good experience during our stay on Gili Trawangan Vila Dunia. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed, thanks in large part to Edyta. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfectly arranged for us from organizing our transport to being consistently available and responsive whenever we had questions or needed assistance. Her communication was good, and she truly made everything feel effortless. Her warmth and attention to detail played a major role in making our stay as smooth and enjoyable as it was. We appreciated her support in every aspect. There were no issues or concerns just a seamless and good experience. Highly recommended! P.S: A special thank you to Ronnie for his support throughout our stay. Not only did he help us organize our transport to and from the island, but he also assisted with booking a nice snorkeling trip, arranging our bicycles also for our daughter ( 6 ) and even taking care of our luggage. His friendliness, responsiveness, and attention made a difference.

Very relaxing, private, peaceful and really well located - the nearby Wilson’s Retreat was a great beach spot for lunch or evening meal. David, the property manager was very nice, responsive to queries and helpful.

It was the best stay in Bali where mangos fell directly into your hands! :) The room was super clean and it was also cleaned every day. The location was quiet yet near to main street and beach. There is superb breakfast available for reasonable price, they provide bike rental for 50K/day. The best of all was staff. Yarto and Abdul were always there to help us with anything we needed, like organizing anorkeling trip. Yarto also did a private cooking class for us and he took us to night market and helped us choose amazing fish for our Christmas dinner. We would definitely recommend Mango tree house to everyone!

    Loved the location if you want to be within good biking distance of both the east and west sides of the island. It's a lot more peaceful than the east side (except for the roosters all hours of the night!) So bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The owner/staff was always very friendly! And the resident cat Bamboo is adorable and very well loved/looked after.
