Everything was just perfect in this little gem hidden away from the buzzing crowds of Alleppey. What truly sets Sunsets and Palmtrees away is the very tasteful design of the rooms. My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Valentine's Home. Its quaint, rustic, independent with majestic view of paddy fields from the backyard. They prepared homemade food for us and it was delicious and healthy. This place is away from the hustle bustle of Alleppey city.

The best homestay, if you are coming to Alleppey and want to enjoy tasty Kerala food, budget friendly, experience true hospitality, with the opportunity to make wonderful friends and in a great location just 2 minutes walk from the beach then Venitia Homestay is the right choice. There is the option of Fan or AC, we chose fan. The rooms are spacious, comfortable bed, and drinking water/glasses provided. The shower pressure is good, towels are provided and the windows in bedroom open fully to allow good air circulation if needed. The first visit, (we stayed here 3 times in total), we extended our trip and stayed for 8 nights and the bed linen/towels were changed without even asking. There is space to relax here, on the balcony, interacting with the family or even up to the rooftop to admire the stars at night. The family are so lovely, their hospitality is 5* and it feels like a home away from home. Jeeja's cooking is so good, we ate nearly all our meals here, some at the family dining area downstairs and some upstairs near our room, vegetarian/meat/fish/spicy/not spicy she is very accommodating and for myself just a little sugar in the best masala chai in Kerala 😊 Jeeja the Masala Chai Queen ☺️ If they could help us in any way they did so, they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, to look after us and arrange trips/recommend places to visit. We even did some exploring with Aakash, went to the cinema together, and enjoyed many conversations with all the family. Staying with this kind, caring, friendly and fun family has been a true highlight of my visit to Kerala, and I look forward to visiting them again next time I return to Kerala. I recommend sunrise kayaking, the budget friendly Vega government boat trip, KSRTC Gavi trip, the beach near by, and generally just exploring the area.

One of my best accommodation in india. Very clean, big room, clean bathroom, a small kitchen with a sitting area and the location was perfect. Mohammed it's an amazing host, very friendly and he help me all the time with information and he also helped me to get a boating tour.

The host Jose was super friendly and helpful. He picked me up from the train station on my first day, enabled me to choose from two rooms and made sure that everything was alright with the room. He also organized a trip to backwaters which was very nice and valuable!
