I hesitate to write about this homestay because this is one of the best homestays I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. As soon as you arrive, you are warmly welcomed by Sujit Sir and Etti Ma'am into their beautiful home. The rooms are extremely clean and very comfortable. The amount of space you get for what you pay is really amazing, much more than a hotel room. Breakfast everyday was so delicious and varied, and the portion sizes were perfect. The staff are so kind and very attentive, they are there to help at a moment's notice. The place is close to an elephant sanctuary, so the surrounding environment is very peaceful and relaxing. Also, quite hours are between 10 pm to 6 am, so it is perfect for resting well after a long day. I will definitely be staying here again next time I come to Bhubaneshwar. ⁹⁹

We arrived ridiculously early and the staff worked hard to get a room ready despite being almost fully booked. This hotel isn’t just about luxury—it’s about warmth, comfort, and an impeccable attention to detail and as a guest you feel genuinely appreciated. The facilities are excellent, from the spotless rooms to the beautifully maintained pool, which is a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The hotel has a restful, spa-like atmosphere. Friends in Bhubaneswar who were in other hotels were envious of our choice. What truly sets The Crown apart, though, is its people. The staff here don’t just do their jobs—they brighten your day. A special mention must go to Aminesh in the restaurant, who ensures every meal is a delight. Mohini and her reception team deal with every request effortlessly. And then there’s Amar, our chauffeur, whose care and knowledge made our half-day trip to the temples even more memorable. This hotel is one of the best we’ve stayed in. - top location! bus stop, street food and some attractions in walking distance, very calm street and lovely house - very caring and uncomplicated hosts, helped a lot with bus plan and getting around and gave tips - food was very good and flexibel - sweet little terrace with plants Very welcoming! The best thing about the hotel was both the carefully arranged rooms and fantastic staff behaviour. Though a small hotel , yet these guys really know how to treat a guest. The location was also central to bhubaneswar and super easy to reach.
