Mr. Vijay, the host, and his kind-hearted mother took exceptional care of every little detail, ensuring our comfort throughout the stay. Their warmth and hospitality made a lasting impression — it was more than just a stay, it was a heartfelt experience. Truly felt like home away from home!

Very professional staff, all the staff is kind and caring. The palace and cottage are very well maintained and you can choose the room if they are available. Cottage is less expensive but main palace room are superior! We spent a very comfortable stay and felt the spirit of Chettinad heritage houses. Hope we'll come back one day!

Kavita the receptionist was simply the best of her kind: welcoming, friendly, informative, inquisitive with a heartwarming life story too. The place itself was charming. Large, clean and comfortable room. Breakfast in nearby Chettinadu Mansion was ample and good, as was dinner there too. Kanadukathan is a fabulous and unique place in India with its magnificent Chettinadu mansions. An oasis of calm from normal hectic India.
