Casapaletti is a pleasant, inviting and inspiring place to be, to enjoy, to relax and to stay longer. Our stay lasted six days and it was still too short for Casapaletti. Our faboulous host Andrea is an outstanding cook and showed us every day how to celebrate, to discuss and enjoy the art of cooking and preparing the food and beverages of Monferrato combined with some greetings from Tuscany. This accomodation is like from a fairytale. You are waking up seeing the most beautiful sunrises. Our dogs had the most amazing quiet and peaceful morning walks. The owner is super nice, the breakfast is from local and homemade ingredients and as a bonus you have a lot of kitties making you company and chasing bugs during morning coffee. The hot tub is a must to try during the sunsets, you will not regret staying here. We are definitely coming back next year! :)

We frequently stay here on our drive to Lucca. We are always made to feel very welcome by all the staff and this is a great place to relax and we love to spend time in a quiet and beautiful location. Add to this that the proprietor Riccardo is an amazingly talented chef so we can always be assured of a truly delicious Italian meal with a bit of a modern twist. The location for us is ideal as Monvillone is close enough to the road network to be accessed easily but also located in the beautiful Piedmontese countryside and very peaceful.

The breakfasts were delicious and varied each day, made from fresh local products. One evening, we also ordered dinner—what a great decision! The food and wine were both exceptional. Huge thanks to our host, Federica, for cooking and serving such a memorable meal. We worked online during the day, and the space was comfortable for two people, with fast and reliable internet. The location is perfect for nature lovers—hiking trails start right at the doorstep. It’s very peaceful and quiet, with amazing views from the large terrace. The rustic interior is spacious and charming, and we especially loved spending time on the huge terrace. We also had occasional visits from the owner’s sweet dog, which we enjoyed. Federica was a wonderful host—very friendly and full of helpful local recommendations. Overall, an amazing stay. 100% recommended for anyone who loves good food, nature, tranquility, and beautiful scenery!
