First of all, I really loved the personal and friendly approach of the hosts. They came every morning with delicious breakfast and made fresh coffee for us. They also brought sweets and focaccia. Besides that, everything was exceptionally clean and well prepared. When I’m around Pomarico, I’m coming back to Agave

Marvellous room in a beautiful building. Very clean and comfortable. The host was very polite and of great nollage about the area. Miglionico is a pretty village at about 20 minutes drive from Matera.

The cave bedroom was an exceptional experience. We were lucky as it was the Festa della Bruna in Matera, it was also a wonderful experience to see this spectacular festival. We even saw the firework display from our room.

The best stay of our trip! Such a special place in the heart of the beautiful Matera. We were warmly welcomed after our taxi ride booked by the hotel. Anne explained us everything about Matera with great recommendations! She showed us to our beautiful room in an old matera house. The hotel has an amazing aesthetic that resonates well with the city. The breakfast is also very much appreciated with nice music.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! We were able to easily communicate with the staff through Booking.com, and they were very attentive and accommodating. We had requested a cave room, and they kindly facilitated it, the view from our room was breathtaking, overlooking the stunning cave houses of the 'Sassi'. The room itself was comfortable and cozy, and the staff went above and beyond by helping us find the best authentic local cuisine to try. They also arranged taxi services to and from the main city center, which was incredibly convenient and helpful, especially given our tight schedule. The breakfast was amazing, featuring a variety of authentic savory and sweet options, we absolutely loved it! On our last day, we had a very early check-out, and the staff even arranged breakfast for us much earlier than their usual serving time, which we truly appreciated. The hotel’s location is perfect, with easy access to all the Caveoso and Barisano attractions. Overall, it was a flawless stay, we would highly recommend it!
