I've stayed in at least 100 different locations in Sri Lanka over the years, but Agro Village wins my award for the best rooms. Designed and built by the owner, the rooms are light and airy, with all the plugs in the right places, an amazingly comfortable bed, no mosquitoes, a very good bathroom - with a mop! - and an outside area in the trees. The food is just right too. And he's planning a swimming pool! The price is a lot lower than other places in Kalpitya, if we needed any other reason to come back.

Wind Blend Kite Resort is offering accommodation in Kalpitiya. Among the various facilities are a terrace and a shared lounge. Asian cuisine is served at the restaurant.

Good spot near the beach and lagoon. Friendly and helpful Staff. The food was exceptional, the Room very cozy and comfortable. They will always help if you need something. We had the chance to see and swim in bioluminescence water in the lagoon. it was magical. Thankyou for everything

Sri and his team went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The service and kindness were truly exceptional. Worth noting: On our second night, we were offered a complimentary upgrade to the honeymoon room—an all-glass, secluded space perched on a sand dune with an ocean view. Waking up there was truly magical. Sri is also an Ayurvedic master. He gave me an unforgettable full-body treatment, and the next morning, we had a yoga session by the pool. In both activities, he not only demonstrated deep expertise but also explained the underlying principles of Ayurveda in a way that was easy to grasp. I highly recommend trying these. At 5 a.m., they had arranged a fishing trip with local fishermen. Although it was too windy to go out to sea, they adapted the plan and taught us stationary fishing on the beach instead. The fishermen eventually caught some small crabs, which the chef prepared for breakfast—such a unique experience. We really appreciated the opportunity to plant a tree with our name in their garden at the end of our stay. The pool overlooking the ocean was also a highlight. If you're looking for an authentic, thoughtfully curated experience by the ocean—one that also aligns with sustainable, long-term goals—this is the place to go. Super hotel and good value for money! This tidy and clean. You have the option to have fan or AC. The bathroom is outside with a roof, but all hotels are like this in this city. The owner is very nice and answers all questions very quickly. The hotel is well located, close to other hotels/restaurant and to KSL camp if you want to kite. I’ll come back!

Right at the beach. Perfect location if you want to do some kitesurfing. You can do a downwinder home ;-) Food was delicious, room was clean and big with AC and a fan. Laundry Service. and whatever you ask for… We stayed here for 7 nights and my friend took some kitesurfing lessons. Shawn is a great teacher and also the rest of the crew were super friendly, welcoming and took good care of us. We also left the kitebag at the place to continue our travels and got it sent back to Colombo (for a fee) however what a service :) All in all, we were very satisfied and had an amazing week! We stayed as a couple for 11 days in this beautiful cottage 1 minute from the beach. It is so quiet and you can relax and retreat very well. There is also a whale skeleton and several beaches are within walking distance. It is also a kitesurfing paradise and there are many donkeys here. You can easily cater for yourself, but there are also several restaurants nearby. The owners are next door and are happy to help at every opportunity. We would come back any time. :-)

Very charming special couple running the place. The food is fresh and delicious. The "cabana" as the beds were clean and the utilities were functioning. Lovely spacious compound located truly at the beach which is "reserved" for the guets ! Thru thr owners we got a arrangement to go on a Dolphin Safari"....Awesome !
