We had a great time at Secret House, and I can’t speak highly enough of the place and the host. The location is central but quiet. It has a front garden with monkeys visiting and two dogs keeping an eye. Both are well trained and friendly. The room is super clean, bathroom in perfect condition, really comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast is also available, and it’s not to be missed! Amila prepared it exactly our favorite way. He was kind enough to offer the kitchen for use, so we could make ourselves some tea or cut fruits. The kitchen is spotless, just like every corner of the place. The property is just a few minutes away from the beach, especially if you take the shortcut from the main road. On the main road, there’s a supermarket, a few pharmacies and a fruit stall in a distance.

Im very happy that i met this family!!! I did not have any inconveniences, even more - they created atmosphere of caring, they never said no to my any request ( and i can be picky ;) ). Room is very nice with 3 sockets beside to the bed, everything is clean. Table, chair, interesting sofa made as part of the wall with soft big pillow on, hot water, fan, air conditioner ( as i remember, but i did not use ). Distance to the ocean, like 5 mins walking. Breakfasts are big enough even for me, with fresh juice, national dishes, fruits, strong tea ( by my request). Nimal, took me from the bus station, he bought me charger, he gave me water when everything was closed from his shop, i could see the kindness is his eyes while was staying there. As far as in eyes of his wife - intelligent lady, always ready to help, she took me to some Buddhist traditional celebration, she prepared a huge breakfast at last day with fried potatoes, pasta and omlet ---- it was so tasty 😋. There are 2 daughters - well conducted and charmy. I DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE! I planned 1 day - i stood 3!!! And i felt i did not want to leave, was sad a bit... I can not list everything - they have 2 white rabbits, small pool with fishes in libing room😍 I met the couple from Germany they were staying about a month and did not plan it as me! Its magic magnetic place😎 I never gave the highest score to accomodation at Sri lanka, this one is exception! Bravo! Im impressed! I can texting whole night about, but dears, you better come and check!!! Booking.com you should reward those people for doing a job properly that's why hard, for professional approach, for kindness, for being humans first and only owners! Btw for everything they had done additionally for me ( like transfer from bus station, etc) they did not include to the final bill, of course each perceived person will give some tips for those efforts, so i did from the ❤️. Its double pleasure when nobody push you to give something.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We were the first people to stay in the top villa and it was sensational! Honestly think it boasts the highest and best view in the area - we woke up to panoramic views of Dickwella Beach and could enjoy a sunset or sunrise swim in the plunge pool with this view. Location was perfect - 2 minutes to Dickwella beach and about 5 minutes into Hiriketiya. The villa also had a TukTuk ready and available should we not want to walk. Dave the host went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay. Wifi worked well too - I was working remotely and was able to stream a number of zoom calls with no issues. Honestly couldn't fault this place - would definitely stay here again!

The location was absolutely amazing — just a short walk from Dickwella Beach! Our host was incredibly helpful and kind, even arranging a scooter rental for us within minutes. The rooms and common areas were super clean and spacious, making the whole stay really comfortable. We honestly wished we had stayed here longer!

Very kind, loving family. They provided a large healthy breakfast. Clean towels and toiletries were also provided. A spot to park our Tuktuk. Only a 15min walk to the beach. It was safe and quiet. Lots of wildlife to see.

    The room was perfect, spacious and even had warm water! The place itself is very nice and the owners are lovely, we got breakfast every morning which was super good and they also helped in arranging a transfer back to the airport. Staying here a little bit more than two weeks we also gained the affection of the house cat and the dog, who would sometimes wait for us in the night on the road to escort us back home!

    There are two buildings in the property one is newly built and other is part of the older house. We stayed in the latter and for the pricing the room and the breakfast was decent. Washroom was very clean with well running hot water . Our main need was for our pet dog a German shepherd to be kept in the room with us in the night And singha house was able to accommodate it. The property is very close to the beautiful dickwella beach

    The location is absolutely perfect at 2 steps from 3 beaches. Janaka and his family are really good hosts ! The family is cute as well as the doggy 🤩 Really friendly and careful about the comfort of the guests. We have felt really welcome and it was an absolute pleasure to stay at this accommodation. The breakfast is also really tasty with fresh fruits and fresh food.

    First of all thank you for your Hospitality Rooms were outstanding just felt like coming home after the full day at the beach, owner is extremely friendly and very helpfull, very generous, highly recommend this place to stay can walk to the beach, very close to the main road, they offered us refreshers when we check in, all accessories available i would book this property again and again, cozy rooms i would recommend to anyone, super pet friendly location, Thank you again for your hospitality... ❤️
