Chatau and his family are incredible hosts. We arrived on Christmas Eve and were invited to a Christmas dinner that they prepared for the whole hotel. He helped us during the week we stayed there with everything from renting scooter to surf lessons for a good price. He is genuinely interested and wants you to have a good stay. Even though the accommodation is quite close to the busy road we couldn’t hear it from our room. The accommodation is also very clean, spacious and totally worth the money. Would definitely stay here again if going to Midigama. Thanks again for everything!

We had the most amazing experience at this homestay! From the moment we arrived, making us feel completely at home. Their warmth and care were beyond what we could have hoped for. The food they served, at such a reasonable price, was absolutely delicious—every meal felt like it was made with love. The location is perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet, and relaxed environment, away from the hustle. It’s truly a hidden gem for those who want to unwind. Whatever we needed, the hosts were always there to help, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Very nice house with a stunning garden. Everything is brand new and the host is very polite. All amenities were explained to us and a scooter was available, which we then rented. Nothing is left to be desired here!!! For breakfast there was a delicious fruit salad with yoghurt and coffee at our request. We particularly liked the fact that we had a garden where we could spend our time without noise and spectators and it really is a maximum of 4 minutes walk to the surf spot!!! An absolute insider tip... the best experience on our entire Sri Lanka tour.

Good wifi, massive lawn, and my personal favourite- monster lizard. It lives in the lawn. You can walk to the beach and all the eateries. Manu is very resourceful and can get you most of the things. Just ask him!

We really liked our stay at the Romaclan villa. There is everything you need, it is very cool to have a kitchen and a terrace. A wonderful location: in a distance from the road, but still you can reach the beach in a couple of minutes. The green area around the villa, many plants, the house is always in a shadow, so it is comfortable and not hot. And we are very grateful to our wonderful owners. Hiumi and her mother surrounded us with care, we felt like at home. Would like to stay longer. Be sure to return.

I had a fantastic stay at this accommodation in Midigama! The room is very affordable, clean, and comes with a private or shared bathroom and a basic-equipped kitchen. The location is perfect for surfing, with many great surf spots nearby, and I love the rural atmosphere of the area. What truly made my experience special was the amazing family that runs the place. They are incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure I had everything I needed. When I wanted to rent a scooter, they took care of everything for me. Their hospitality made me feel at home, and I couldn’t be happier with my stay. If you're looking for a budget-friendly place to stay in Midigama with great surf access and a welcoming local experience, I highly recommend this place!

I liked the rooftop and the good breakfast. The owner gave me good tips for my journey and was very nice. The price was very good and nit expansive. The bed room and bathroom had everything that I needed and was clean. Met some nice visitors there.

You'll love everything about the loft. The place, the garden, accessibility, the marvelous hospitality of the owners. We wanted to extend out stay but unfortunately they were already booked for the next days. Really glad that we found this place and we had the most amazing stay even though it was short.

Casual and cool place for surfers. Felt very small in a good way. The staff and owners was really polite and charming. We would recommend this place for you who wants a relaxed stay, with clean facilities. The rooms are really well designed, with a beautiful natural palette. The showers is outside, making it feel really in touch with nature. Thanks for us!

    The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the design is very cool, view incredible and noise of the ocean is peaceful. AC worked well. Really liked the breakfast options too, very high quality. And breakfast served til 12! So you can build up an appetite for your meal. Nice choice of bars and shops walking distance away. Quiet location. Turtles playing in the surf literally 5m in front of the hotel.
