I would recommend this place to everyone! The host was so incredibly hospitable and sweet. She helped us with the elephant trip, cooked us an amazing dinner and breakfast and was just all around incredibly accommodating. She even let us stay a little while longer to freshen up and prepare for the next leg of our journey, after we came back from half a day in Anudharapura. You really see that she loves hosting and it shows in everything she does for her guests.

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff was really helpful and courteous. Thanks to Sanath and Sujee .The location of the hotel is great with mountain view. Rooms were cleaned and the bed was really comfortable. Value for money. Tasty and mouthwatering food.

The place is absolutely amazing, the rooms are really comfortable with a really good lavender smell. Having a tasty breakfast with nature sounds and talking with the friendly staff was great. Very close walk to Sigiriya’s Lion Rock Totally recommend if you ever come here

The host Kalahara is kind and helpful and treats guests as his family.Nothing is too much for him. PROPERTY: Lovely homestay surrounded by trees and lovely garden.The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and airy. All the facilities like hot water, airconditioning, water pressure etc was perfect. BREAKFAST:Our breakfast was included and it was the best we had in Srilanka.Its varied everyday and its plentiful and very tasty.(SEE PHOTOS) We had 2 dinners cooked by his wife and they were delicious and generous portions. TOURS: Host Kalhara will organize tours at reasonable rate and his driver is a very nice person. we did a tour and driver was very patient and took us around paddy fields. - bed is really comfy and accommodation super clean - hot shower !!! - warm welcome from the family - Sheeva helps to organise all the activities as the place is strategically based in the center of the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka : safari for elephants, sunset and sunrise at lion rocks and Pidurangala rock but also reply to a lot of requests that is really nice (example: he told me how to get to his place by local bus so I could avoid paying a lot in taxi as a solo young traveller it’s really nice) - quite area - interesting discussion with the owner to learn about Sri Lanka story - food available (but I would recommend to check price in advance just to know what you are going to pay) - host organised for me an Ayurvedic treatment that was so good - good quality for the services provided compared to the price paid

One of the best rooms we had so far in Sri Lanka, good hot shower and WiFi. All good restaurants within 5/10 min walking distance. The Lion Rock is also nearby. The breakfast is really good and the owner is really friendly and tries giving you a good time!

The place is not fancy at all, but it was quiet at night, I slept well. The museum is near. The host is hospitable and I had a really good breakfast, altogether for a cheap price

The hotel has its own restaurant, which is very convenient and you don’t have to go far. Everything was very delicious. Pool was clean and room was good as well
