What a wonderful place and a great adventure. We love the location, the little house is super clean, no mosquitoes and the best natural swimming pool. The food is amazing and the owners very sweet and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it to the moon and back. Highly recommended. Also the organized guided tours delivered more than we could hope for.

The setting is extraordinary. It’s a 10min walk up the hill but it is worth it. The views are fantastic. The bungalow was wonderful with lots of interesting details. The service and hospitality were amazing. The food was great (the portions are huge!). Thank you for the interesting conversations and hopefully we (or at least one of our children) will meet again!

If you want a 5 star resort, this is not your place! If you want a river view with birds, a friendly chef/manager and a clean, basic stay- stay here! Fan, air conditioning and a clean room with hot water. No other people were staying; this suited us as we could enjoy the view, birds and relax. The boys organised cold beer for us- ask the price, give them the $ and you have beer. Overall, a great place in a secluded spot. There might be water on the floor after a shower but this. Dies overnight. If this sounds great, go for it! The more expensive places are probably similar but we could have stayed have stayed longer. Thanks to Chef, Manager Akila. Very good spotter of birds and a friendly person with lots of local knowledge.

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay in the Sri Lankan rainforest. The host and his whole family were incredibly kind and helpful, and they made us feel very welcome. The homemade food was delicious and freshly prepared every day. Our room was spacious and clean. The rainforest tour was a highlight – we learned and saw so much, and the guides passion and knowledge made the experience truly unforgettable. We can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and warm experience in Sri Lanka.

Staying at Sinharaja Tranquil Homestay was an amazing place for resting, chilling and empowering! 🙏🏾 It has its rustic vibe and naturalistic surrounding i🌿🌴🪵⛰️🪴🏡 in the middle of the jungle, about 15 min from the village. That was adorable to wake up every morning with the birds singing 💔. The house has a huge hall, ideal for practicing yoga and beautiful garden for meditation ✨. The breakfast 🥞 was sweet and tasty. A very calm and comfortable staying close to the nature! Recommend it a lot for the ones who want to reconnect with inner self and feel the power of the jungles! 🤞🏾

Such a wonderful hotel, and the owner, his son, and the rest of the staff were lovely. They organised a great safari for us, and had a tasty breakfast ready when we came back. Also recommend the dinner curry buffet. All in all outstanding service. Clean rooms, nice pool, nice outdoor area.
