This accommodation in the rain forest is beautiful! It's the perfect place to have a peaceful stay in the middle of the jungle. Karina, the host, takes great care of the place. There is a river in which you can swim, a Yoga place in the forest and the hotel team makes great food. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely come back :)

Really liked our stay here. Spacious apartment on a hill. We had complimentary tea over sunset and a generous breakfast spread of assorted fruits, toast and omelette. I slept really well! We didn't go with their Sinharaja tour, but learnt that the host's family were one of the pioneer guides for the rainforest. The host still kept the first book of past patron's comments since 1995! Would have loved to stay for a few more nights for the serenity and warm hospitality. Maybe next time! 😉

The location is idyllic, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty—it truly feels like stepping into a peaceful oasis. The rice and curry were delicious, with generous portions. Staying at Sinharaja Tranquil Homestay was an amazing place for resting, chilling and empowering! 🙏🏾 It has its rustic vibe and naturalistic surrounding i🌿🌴🪵⛰️🪴🏡 in the middle of the jungle, about 15 min from the village. That was adorable to wake up every morning with the birds singing 💔. The house has a huge hall, ideal for practicing yoga and beautiful garden for meditation ✨. The breakfast 🥞 was sweet and tasty. A very calm and comfortable staying close to the nature! Recommend it a lot for the ones who want to reconnect with inner self and feel the power of the jungles! 🤞🏾

Amazing owner, family business with a lot of hapiness and amazing service. Safari they organise is top quality. Would recommend to eat in their restaurant, absolutely great (non spicy) Sri Lankan curries. There is an amazing home spa nearby, organized by locals, in case you arrive in the afternoon and want to relax right away. There is a printed paper in the room with their contact information. I would definitely recommend going as a couple (same time treatments possible).
