Great host and great location for the waterfalls trek in Setti Fatma. The house is clean and comfy and they offer a very tasty meal. We arrived mid afternoon and we were able to have a sandwich. We really appreciated it! Best value for money in Ourika Valley.

I mistakenly booked the wrong dates for this accommodation. A refund was not possible, but our host offered us the dates we wanted to stay at no extra charge. He was true to his word! Oukaimeden is a beautiful place. Our host, Rachid, was exceptionally helpful during our short stay. The Gite was basic, but comfortable, and had better WiFi than anywhere we stayed in Morocco this year. Breakfast was good, and Rachid has a small restaurant a few minutes walk away from the Gite where a lovely tagine for dinner is available.

The rooftop terrace was absolutely gorgeous, and comfortable. The owner was friendly and kind. He gave me a couple things to help me when I had altitude sickness. This place was really great for the price.

Hassan and his family went above and beyond to welcome us into the guesthouse. Beautiful rooms and accomodation in perfect location a short walk from Imlil. The location is tranquil with beautiful views over the valley. Hassans hospitality was endless with some of the best food we had in Morrocco along beautiful breakfast on the rooftop. The overnight stay was characterized by Mustapha's friendliness. Here, outstanding hospitality meets a European understanding of privacy. Mustapha's cooking skills complete the whole experience and make it uniquely good! The only point to keep in mind is that you are in the Atlas Mountains so warm clothing is highly recommended as even the rooms can get a bit chilly at night.

Dar Zohra was an absolutely unexpected oasis of beauty and relaxation. The pictures look great, but they don’t capture the utter tranquility of the space. Every single detail of the construction/design of this guesthouse has been chosen with care. The rugs in the common area are stunning. The food is fabulous, and the staff make you feel so at home. It is truly an unpretentious luxury. We spent the first day gently hiking in/around the river just below the guesthouse, and the second day in the more famous Setti Fatma. If I found so it again, I would have just stayed by the river below- it is out of a picture book, with almost nobody else around. A big thanks to the team at Dar Zohra, I cannot wait to return! ❤️

Hamid is an exceptional host with a truly warm heart. Arriving to Dar Imoughlad was easy because he took care of everything. Dinners were among the best ones we have had so far. We like to hike on our own, so Hamid gave us good tips where to go. Rooms are clean and shower is warm. It's not a luxurious place in a traditional way, but in our opinion what Hamid is offering is the true luxury in life.
