The guesthouse was located in a peaceful environment in the jungle. We could spot some wildlife very nearby. The views from the rooms are towards the gorgeous Concepcion volcano. The room was spacious, clean, modern and comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay here.

This was easily one of the best hostels if have stayed at. The host family is extremly welcoming and organizes everything you could want (taxi, bikerental, kayaktour) at good prices. The room was cleaned every day and we were given fresh towels daily as well. The breakfast (can only recommend adding that) is delicious and filling. There was a hiccup with the communication via booking.com (it had overbooked the room and when we got there a solution was already provided. I cannot overstate how nice and generous the hostess Odelba and her family was. Jutst thank you for making our stay this wonderful!

While the accommodation is simple, it covers all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The highlight was definitely Junior, our host. He’s warm, speaks great English, and is an excellent guide for hiking to the volcanoes. His local knowledge and friendly personality really made the experience memorable.

The location is incredible! You’re in the jungle with so much wildlife around you! The cabins were so cool high up and they had everything you need. Elias, one of the staff was amazing and always chatted to us about our days, what we got up to and any recommendations he had. We hired an atv which they handled for us, everything was just taken care of, could t recommend staying here more! It’s on the side of the island too that everything isn’t too far if you got transport (you need to hire something, a bike, scooter or atv). Also Loki and Lola the German Shepard’s are amazing and super friendly , also the property has pigs and who doesn’t love pigs!

The house is beautiful in a beautiful setting. The service was really very good, it was cleaned each day and it was easy to contact the owners who came straight out to assist with getting the key out of the key box! We hired a bike to get around which is kind of necessary although there are buses that go around the island. Highly recommend.

The best place for nature and animal lovers. You wake up to the sounds of monkeys and birds in the morning. It was the best experience in my Nicaragua trip. There are no restaurants nearby, but you can get delicious food at the hostel. You can get there by bus from Moyogalpa.

    This place is a one of a kind gem in Ometepe. The food is amazing, the location is perfect (the lake is at the end of the lane if you want a quick dip) and it’s conveniently next to both shops and restaurants. The beautiful art that is characteristic of Lazy Crab is incredible, it made the vibe of the hostel relaxing and it was offset by the fireflies that are visible from the terrace in the evening. The owner was helpful, caring and was happy to share tips for the best places to visit on the Island. I will definitely be returning.

    Amazing apartment with a huge bed and a lot of space. It was very handy to repack our luggage. Very good breakfast for a good price. Kind staff. Great garden. Two lovely dogs and a cool cat. You need go have a off road vehicle (but imo it is very handy for the rest of ometepe as well). There is nothing we didn't like. It was super!

    The modern finish to the room was wonderful and looks better than the pictures. The shower was amazing and the bed was large and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic in the morning. The view from the garden was beautiful. The hosts were very accommodating and able to sort any questions quickly. They had two good dogs and a needy cat!! (Very sweet). Also loved being in the jungle and howler monkeys here when we arrived (bring bug spray). Wish I could have stayed longer to have enjoyed the property itself.
