The homestay was absolutely lovely - Hari's parents and his little cousins are so open and welcoming and the food was so yummy but the biggest highlight of this stay was the Safari walk through the National Park. We saw so many animals that would have been missed if we were in a jeep and Hari's knowledge of all the animals was phenomenal Highly, highly recommend!

Charming family, made me feel at home. They took care of me as if I were a family member, served delicious homemad meals and made me long to return to this amazing place. Manoj is a great and passionate guide, did his best to show me all the beauty of Chitwan. It was very hard for me to leave his homestay, I will definitely come back again.

This was a fabulous place to stay. The owner does walking safari and this was amazing and we got to see rhino’s. The facilities are basic but the showers are hot. If you are looking for 5 start this is not for you. It js a step back into nature and a beautiful setting. The meals are fantastic and there is an fire pit in the evening to enjoy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Tiger Wildlife Resort was my home for two weeks. Besides the beauty of the place, perfect for those who seek quiet surroundings, what was truly remarkable is the care I received as a guest here. I felt like a VIP, a princess even, as the owners, Gambir, and the rest of the team, went out of their way to make my stay absolutely perfect. I was given what I believe is the best room on the property, with a balcony facing the park, from which every morning I would see all sorts of animals: deers, rhinos, boars and countless birds (among which peacocks and black storks and openbills) The food here is absolutely excellent, always freshly made and very tasty. The chef is so sweet, always doing his best to satisfy my (many!) requests. The safaris and tours were also lovely experiences, as the parks in the area have lots to offer. I recommend taking the time to visit Tikauli and the 20k lake. I also enjoyed walking around the rural village and talking to a few locals who seem to adore foreigners. In general, I would imagine staying here about 5 days is enough to tick all the touristy stuff of the list... unless - like me - you're not in a rush about seeing this and that, maybe you work online and enjoy taking some time away from more mundane life.. then stay as long as your heart feels and discover how wholesome it is to become a Tiger Wildlife family member ! I spent wonderful days there, reconnected with nature and with the projects of the region. The people are very kind, the food is always very tasty and made with local ingredients. The staff help us a lot with suggestions for tours and tourism. The room is also very comfortable. I highly recommend this place.

Bambi chilling house is such a great place, we enjoyed our time here very much. Great atmosphere and accommodation, the staff is super nice and tries to make your stay as comfortable as they can and they cook very very good - we especially enjoyed the banana pancakes for breakfast and buff curry with rotti. We also booked the walking safari through them and had Manu and Sudash walk us through the jungle. It was such a great experience, they are both very experienced and it was so fun to spend the day with - very exciting and full of adventure.

We had a lovely stay at Tara’s guesthouse. Vicky & his team were so accommodating and provided us with lots of information about the town. We ended up booking our canoe & Jeep Safari with Taras guesthouse. The prices are competitive & it was comforting to know we were only supporting ethical operations. The room is basic but more than what you pay for. Overall we were very impressed.

A very comfortable hotel, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is quite far from the main street, not within walking distance, but you can find all your basic needs here and have a great place to relax.

If you want to experience local, rural Nepal then this place is perfect! The family you stay with are all amazing, and make the experience even more memorable! The wife cooks the best traditional Nepal food too! Mr Rama has a jeep and took us on a jungle safari and to a waterfall as well! Mr Rama is the kindest man and also provided me with lots of information on their religion and traditions! I was a solo female traveller and I highly recommend this place!
