Stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. Only 15 minutes drive to shopping center (Frankton), 20 minutes to queenstown. Room was perfect. Breakfast was perfect. There are other acitivites available like wine taste and outside hot tub. Queenstown was too crowded in my opinion but staying here you can enjoy the peaceful view of countryside while still have convenience to everything you need for your holiday. Great value for money. Will definitely recommend.

Information and directions were clear and consistent. Loved the extra touch of snacks for x4 people, considerate and welcoming. Beautiful outlook.

Perfect stay, the suite was really clean and offered a nice bedroom, a brand-new bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub, and a living room with TV and kitchen equipment (microwave and fridge + some coffee, food etc.) The breakfast was nice as well (home-made cherry jam from the orchard and bread, milk, cereals...) Sam & Linden (and Ted, a lovely dog) were really nice and welcoming. They offered us a tour of the cherry orchard and gave us a box full of cherries before we left. Many thanks for the lovely and restful time we spent at The Mathstone!

This was a beautiful place to stay- a detached barn in a cherry orchard. Well appointed. Quiet. Friendly hospitable hosts, and a delicious breakfast (including local honey and home made jam). Thank you Sam and Lynden.

Close proximity to the town (especially icecream and food), and the pub was a great atmosphere 10 steps away from the room. Food was great and staff were really friendly. The high speed wifi in the room was fantastic, and allowed clear video calls back home.

Cromwell Motel is within walking distance to Lake Dunstan and Cromwell's historic Old Town. It offers modern apartments with fully equipped kitchens.

Large living room with beds + 2 bedrooms. More than enough for a family of 4, did not expect that big, was a great surprise. Bathroom did the job, extremely hot water. Very happy with everything, very quiet.

The view from the house is amazing! It has also a nice location. The house has everything that you need, is very complete and comfortable. The house is very well heated, I loved that when we arrived in a very cold day, it was so warm, we really appreciated that!
