We arrived by train and it only took 10 mins to walk to the apartment which is situated in a quiet residential area (includes parking space if required). The hosts were prompt answering any questions we had such as where is the nearest supermarket and gave us a choice of three which included directions. The shop had a gluten free section and was an easy 7-10 minute walk. The apartment was super clean, the bed comfortable and the bed linen pristine. We had a great few nights sleep. To walk into the city we took a short cut through the train station which took about 15 mins to be in the heart of the old town. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

The apartment also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. we were looking to break up our trip from Padua to Vienna halfway and searching the area around the Austrian/Italian/Slovenian border we found this and it was absolutely perfect. And in addition it was totally quiet! The property is beautiful and has access to a mountain stream in the back. excellent breakfast was served right into the room. lovely hosts.

Many activities in the area such as cycling, hiking, boat trips, swimming (included in the rental price was a 'Karnten Card' which gave free admission to lots of activities including the local cable car a saving of more than €30 each time!). Fabulous.
