All units include a safety deposit box. It’s lovely and peaceful. There is a gate to the hotel which makes it feel really secure. The owner was leaving for the day and offered us a ride into town as we were going to order a taxi. Very helpful and friendly staff. The bed was incredibly comfortable!!!

Every room has a balcony with views of the mountain. Seemed like we had found a small piece of heaven here. The owners were incredible friendly and helpful, the location was so comfortable and quiet with llamas, horses, a dog and cat all welcoming us. If we come back to Chile again, this is where we would stay

Surrounded by a lush garden, Mallin Colorado Ecolodge offers wooden cottages overlooking General Carrera Lake. There is a restaurant serving regional and international dishes, and a buffet breakfast is served daily. There is a private beach 2 km away. Incredible location, nice (and warm) communal areas and fantstic food each night prepared by chef Venecia. Portions are huge so easy to share meals/starters/mains. On the property itself there’s an incredibly rewarding hike with some of the best views we had on our trip (but you need to walk all the way to the end!). Staff are delightful - a special mention for Belén who is the sweetest!

The property itself is outstanding and the rooms are fantastic and the value is unbeatable. Ernesto was a big help as were all his staff in the kitchen, all very tentative in every respect of food and helping out anyway they could highly recommend to stay here if you get a chance.
