What impressed me most was SanQian's thoughtfulness—being there as early as 6:15 am to send us off on our tour, checking on us through the day to ensure a smooth trip. She even arranging a takeaway breakfast so we wouldn’t miss a meal. The room was comfortable and, most importantly, safe, which gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. Her warm hospitality and genuine care made our experience smooth and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

The staff Joye and Cassie speak great English. Both of them and all other staff were soo much helpful. They help me to find transfer to Tiger Leaping Gorge, to book tour for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and even airport transfer. They even give me a list of Halal eateries close to the accommodation! Located in Old Town close to South Gate. Far from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to the vibrant area. I extended my stay here because of the hospitality!

The room was immaculate, the bedding extremely comfortable. The toiletries were top of the range. And the breakfasts... absolutely delicious! Located 2 minutes from the center, this hotel is ideal for a relaxing stay in Shaxi. The host, Lynn, was lovely and always helpful to this French tourist who doesn't speak Chinese (me)! She also sells pottery featuring the local cat mascot: Wa Mao. If I wasn't backpacking for six months, I would have loved to buy some, they're so cute. Just go! ☀️

I love how cultural the design of this homestay is. It's very comfortable and homey. Most homestays in Lijiang Old Town are tucked away in alleys, but this one is only three minutes from the main road. The facilities are excellent, and the rooms are spacious. An iron is also provided upon request. Our room was actually only for three people, but we came as an unplanned foursome. However, the hotel allowed us to stay in the same room without any extra charges. We were even provided with bed covers, blankets, towels, and other additional amenities. We went there in early October, and the temperature was already quite cold. We didn't even need the air conditioning in our room; it was so cool. We were even provided with a water heater and a thermal blanket. Mai Lu Jiejie is very kind, she is really kind! She even recommended some halal restaurants for us to eat at, since we are muslims. She also recommended us a place to rent traditional costumes there which is quite cheap. If I go to Lijiang again, I will stay there again .

There is an elevator on all four floors. The young men and women at the inn greet us warmly when we enter and leave, and they help us make travel plans to avoid tourist traps. The environment of the store is simply breathtaking. The stay experience was wonderful, and I highly recommend it!
