- The pet must not be left alone in the room We loved it here (and even extended our stay)! Well equipped kitchen, very clean, owners are very friendly and helpful, we felt very safe. We travel with small kids and they loved it too. It is very close to playa negra, a couple of restaurants are close and about 15 min walking to the center. Walking distance (20 min) to National Park. The outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach is a plus! All in all a great place!

When we arrived they took the time to tell us everything we should know about the area (transportation, water, etc...). We ate a few times in the restaurant and the food was delicious.

We loved it so much that we came back a few days later.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 26 km from Jaguar Rescue Center. Of all our accommodations in Costa Rica, this one was the most nature-oriented. Waking up to the sound of birds singing and howler monkeys was absolutely perfect. We saw toucans and hummingbirds in the garden. Even though the house is right next to the jungle, we really felt safe. The main road along the coast is very busy, so we can only recommend choosing accommodations like this one, which is a little further away from the road. Thank you for everything!
