We appreciated that there was bike storage available and we loved our time in the sauna!

The room and bathroom were spacious and very clean, the beds were very comfortable. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful! Breakfast prepared by the hostess was very nutritious and varied. She suggested that we could make sandwiches for our hike, which was very nice of her and thanks to that, we didn’t waste any food that she prepared. Since we were in Janov before the season, the local restaurants were closed, however, the hostess prepared a delicious dinner for us with dessert and local alcohols. We felt like home! We travelled with our dog and he was also welcomed there. Thank you very much!

Mornings and evenings spent here felt special sipping coffee while watching the river and passing trains, or enjoying a glass of wine by the fire. Our kids especially loved chopping wood for the grill, which made the experience even more fun and hands-on. Highly recommended for anyone looking to slow down and soak in the nature and charm of the region. Just a tip for future guests: since the area is rich in nature, it’s a good idea to wear long sleeves or use repellent even while relaxing at the table in the yard. I was in a summer dress one evening and found a small tick on my leg the next day a reminder that nature here is very much alive!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Pensjon Jitřenka Hřensko! The hotel exceeded every expectation we had. Both the rooms and common spaces were spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and the fresh bedsheets made it feel even more welcoming. The views of the surrounding mountains were simply breathtaking, offering a perfect retreat in nature. What made the stay even more pleasant was the location — just one kilometer away from the main tourist street, which can get quite crowded at times. This perfect distance allowed for both convenience and a peaceful atmosphere. A special mention to Dominik, the host, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay and spoke perfect English, making everything seamless. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort and stunning scenery!

The host is very friendly and is super helpful - the key lock got broken on the Friday evening but the host arrived 10 minutes later and was able to solve the problem within 30 minutes or so. The apartment is about 10 minutes walking from the city center - there are multiple grocery shops and restaurants around.
