Many were closed for winter but the Italian restaurant next door was a saviour. Breakfast is simple but thoughtful, with fresh made-to-order eggs. Genuinely helpful staff, dog friendly, comfortable bed and pillows, secure parking, mini walk-in wardrobe area and ample power plugs by the bed for all your tech gadgets.

Such a lovely place run by a super friendly team, very dog friendly, very close proximity to visit Montserrat and surrounding areas for hikes, with beautiful views to the mountain, also the breakfast is amazing!

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options can also be requested. Excellent location and value. The property is in great shape and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast was incredible. Also, they have a spa that is only $10 euros per person per hour with a dry sauna, a wet sauna, a jacuzzi and a cold plunge pool. We made a reservation for the spa and were the only ones in there…great amenity.

Portal de l'Angel is 200 metres away. I had an excellent stay at Hotel Magdalenes Catalonia. The location is absolutely perfect, situated in the heart of Barcelona and within walking distance of many key attractions, making it ideal for exploring the city. The service throughout my stay was top-notch, with the staff consistently friendly, attentive, and professional. A special mention goes to Simo, our concierge, who went above and beyond to ensure our trip was unforgettable. Simo was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, recommending some of the best places to eat and drink in Barcelona—each suggestion was spot on. Overall, everything about our stay was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely return on my next visit to Barcelona.

Please note that there is no parking at the hotel. We have a nearby parking garage with limited spaces and cannot be reserved; parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. On reception an instant room upgrade was given , had a lovely suite. Staff super warm, friendly and helpful. Location fantastic, spa thoroughly enjoyed along with excellent massages. Calm, peaceful very clean hotel. Breakfast, great selection. Totally enjoyed the stay here and whole ambiance.

Mas Pere Pau is located in the natural setting of Bruguers, in Besalú, 5 minutes' drive from the city centre. It offers well-equipped apartments, studios and rooms with mountain and garden views. The property also features a swimming pool and free Wi-Fi throughout. Lovely building, great staff and room and important for us genuinely dog friendly.
