Good distance from the gondola although it was uphill to get there - get a ski locker if you can! The La Plagne area in general and Champagny in particular is our favourite ski area - its amazing for all levels although, I woukd say Champagny is probably better for slightly more able skiiers or boarders rather than complete beginners. The hottub was fantastic after a day on the slopes. The bedrooms were all really comfortable. Great kitchen facilities. When we had a small problem the communication was brilliant. A fabulous place to stay.
