The property is non-smoking and is situated 50 km from Museum of the Isles. OMG, this tiny home was amazing. Staying here on Skye was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. The view was to die for, we never even considered turning on the TV. We spent the evenings watching the sunsets over the water and mountains. I can't wait to return. Now the specifics.... the home is indeed small, but nicely laid out. The bedroom is up a set of stairs and the firm bed is low to the floor. There are large boxes under the bed for storing clothing, which worked well. We put our luggage in the car. There are a few un-carpeted stairs which can be slippery in stocking feet and no handrail so descend cautiously - we didn't have a problem. The bathroom is interesting with the toilet/sink one one side of the hall and the shower on the other, good use of space. The kitchen in small, but well equipped for cooking. Frazer and Emma even left a wee dram (thank you)! The location is a bit out of the way, about 1/2 hour south of Broadford where you will need to stock up on groceries. The drive is on narrow roads with plenty of sheep to make it interesting. We will definitely stay here again!

There was good signage so we had No trouble finding the property. It was a handy to have a restaurant on site. We had a lovely meal there.

It saved us that Karen left everything prepared. We arrived very late due to the fact that we were doing a roadtrip directly from Edimburgh with little stops, and the time was flying. We contacted Karen through booking itself, and she replied very quickly and very warmly, and she told us that it was okay, that she prepared the heating for us, and also placed some delicious muffins and scones, as well as milk and jam, which we tried at our arrival after arriving tired and hungry. We found the cabins without problems. We could park next to the cabin. The beds were very confortable and the shower it's great and very warm. Also the cabin is equipped with everything you might need to prepare yourself some meals. We bought some eggs (they sell them) and we prepared delicious omelettes with them. Also you can ask for breakfast which will be delivered the next morning to your cabin and Karen will leave it at the door, which is again, very convenient, and the prices are great. We deffinitely need to come back to see the ducklings grown up!

Wish I had booked a second night to explore the beach near by and had more time at the property. Easy drive into Portree.

This 4-star holiday home offers private entrance. should be very close to the ferry termimnal. originally we tend to take the ferry to skye island and that's why we chose to stay in this hotel. however, the ferry tickets were sold out thus we went thru the skye bridge to armadale. it took around 20 mins to the hotel from skye bridge by driving. still convenient. but i believe that it will be more convenient if you take the ferry to reach there. if time allows, can go to the armadale castle which you can reach there by walking.
