The studio is composed of a dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette, and 1 bathroom. The apartments were located close to Route One and enjoyed a magnificent view of the ocean. The apartments, against a backdrop of golden sun ray in the late afternoon, greeted us in a very pleasant way when we arrived. They were new and clean. The kitchens were well equipped. A special thanks went to the host who came to alert us of an approaching hurricane that basically closed most of the roads in northern and eastern Iceland for days. She managed to give us the heads up and advise us to closely monitor the weather forecast and road conditions before we checked out. Her advice was essential for keeping us safe as we then extended our stay at the next stop to take shelter from the strong wind and sleet.

The rooms were really nice and clean. There was a common area with a kitchenette and some sofas where we ended up spending our evening. There is also a restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast. The food was great. Overall, it was an amazing stay with great views.

Felt like we were in a log cabin. Cozy beds, beautiful view, and met by a friendly host.

Would definitely recommend and would book again for sure.

The rooms at Snæfell - Hotel by Aldan feature a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Guests have access to a shared terrace overlooking the fjord. Beautiful location. Good breakfast but you have to pay for it separately the room was big and nicely decorated If you come, highly recommend the kiosk for a good drink and treat (added picture below-it is a separate place)

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The place is very clean with good view. The owner made an amazingly delicious lamb soup. We enjoyed our stay there. Highly recommend!
