The rooms have a flat-screen TV. All rooms feature a mountain view. The rooms are equipped with a private bathroom fitted with a shower. We were traveling around Iceland and this horel was the best one. Hotel is located in wonderful nature by the lake, but only few minutes drive from Egillstadir. Staff is very kind and friendly. Breakfast was very good and fresh.

The studio is composed of a dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette, and 1 bathroom. Everything was excellent. Lovely location, here I saw the best northern lights from my window! Amazing view in the morning. They give you the basics things to cook like oil, salt, sugar, pepper, etc… excellent service!!

Felt like we were in a log cabin. Cozy beds, beautiful view, and met by a friendly host.

The holiday home offers mountain views, a children's playground, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. A perfect place to relax. And do some hiking as well

The guest house also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. What a location!!! Unique. Very atmospheric, good restaurant, very cool and accommodating staff. Fellow travellers were really awed when we arrived.

Snæfell - Hotel by Aldan is 500 metres from the Smyril Line Ferry Terminal in Seydisfjördur. WiFi and parking are free.

The rooms at Snæfell - Hotel by Aldan feature a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Guests have access to a shared terrace overlooking the fjord. This hotel was nice surprise. Ordered because couldn’t get anything in Egilsstadir, but at the end it was very good experience. The town itself is worth to stop by- i loved it the most while travelling ring road- it is small and cozy, located by fjord. And the hotel is in old house, but inside perfectly equipped. Common kitchen was very useful- all what is needed to arrange small picknick just outside the hotel (there is a table).

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Fljótsdalsgrund is a recently renovated guest house located in Valþjófsstaður, 7.9 km from Hengifoss. 42 km from Kirkjufoss, the guest house features a bar and a shared lounge. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The place is very clean with good view. The owner made an amazingly delicious lamb soup. We enjoyed our stay there. Highly recommend!
