The hosts were thoughtful with leaving a bottle of Champagne for our group. The hot tub was amazing and easy to use. The hiking around the property was awesome. The sheep are not allowed in the area so they are free of poop! The fridge has a freezer!!

Bed was comfortable, everything was exceptionally clean. House is very cozy and has lots of nice vintage details.

The Apartment was beautiful, comfortable, featured plenty of windows to enjoy the stunning view of the lake in front and the mountain in the back. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need, there is even a laundry machine. The location is perfect, right next to Dimmuburgir, Hverir, the cave and of course the lake which benefited us with a beautiful sunset from the kitchen. It wasn't so cheap but worth the money.

All we saw was snow and fog/ cloud. Iceland was having a late winter to mid-April.

The host it is so nice making sure that we were not missing anything. Breakfast it was amazing. You can feel the smell of fresh baked bread with many varaity or choices 😋 of homemade suits and jam. It is a really great stay to relax after traveling. You can even enjoy the hottub to make it better. For sure, we are coming back.

It is a bit isolated, at 1-2 km from the ring road, with nothing but nature around, making it very quiet. The room is like a small chalet, with a large window next to the bed. As it snowed in the night we stayed, the view from the bed was really nice. The owner was very considerate and we had a smooth communication. Also, he left us a souvenir for good luck, which we really appreciated. In the fridge we had some snack for breakfast or for the road. In a nutshell, we loved this nice, warm and welcoming place.
