I was here for one month and from the moment I arrived, Taiga and Akane made me feel at home. They are welcoming, kind, and always ready to help. Taiga’s English is limited, but he’s eager to improve and does his best to make every guest feel comfortable. The guesthouse itself is simple yet cozy. The private and dorm rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious, even featuring a small Japanese bathtub. There’s also a separate room with a fridge, microwave, washing machine, and dryer, with plans to add a small kitchen soon. The outdoor sitting area, which I called the living room, is the heart of the place. Some days we worked on DIY projects, other days we had BBQs, chatted with guests, or just relaxed. It can be lively and peaceful in the same day, but it never gets boring. I spent countless hours talking with other guests, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Located in the quiet hills of Mount Yaedake, it’s the perfect place to disconnect and recharge. There’s space for yoga, bonfires, or just relaxing in a hammock under the trees. While the guesthouse is remote, you can bike or walk to local spots, and Nago City is only a 10-minute drive away. If you have a rental car, exploring the island is easy. This isn’t just a guesthouse—it’s a home. Whether you stay for a few days or weeks, you’ll love your time here. I’m grateful to have found this place, and I hope you will be too!

1.9 km from Malibu Beach, 秘密基地 NO's ARROW ノーズアロー is a recently renovated property situated in Onna and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The property has quiet street views and is 2.8 km from Maeda Cape and 6.6 km from Zakimi Gusuku Castle. The accommodation provides full-day security, and luggage storage for guests. Instantly, I felt very welcome. The owner is a father of two young children who were very sweet, funny and curious. There is a bar and a ping pong table, which is really cool. He runs the bar and also gives scuba lessons! I highly recommend diving with him at the Blue Cave, it was an unforgettable experience. The facilities are well-maintained and there's a bohemian vibe. Honestly, perfect for everyone. I was a solo traveler but I met a family of 5 there too. I wish I stayed longer, but I know I made a good friend, so I want to return one day. ありがとう、せいやさん！

Set 800 metres from Sunset Beach, 8.3 km from Nakagusuku Castle and 13 km from Zakimi Gusuku Castle, MihaMac provides accommodation located in Chatan. Mihamac is really close to the beach and Ame-ville. You can reach several good restaurants and lots of facility on foot. Aeon mall is right next to this house so if you haven't brought something you can get whatever you want right away. This house offers you more than you need; you can do laundry. you can even cook. you can have a nice bath in the clean bathroom, seperated from toilet. This was actually my second visit to Okinawa, and I didn't even bother to search for another accomodation. This place is large enough for a family or freinds, and it comes with the reasonable price. I won't even mention how clean and safe this place is. I asked the staffs to look for the wallet I thought I left behind, and staffs dealt with the problem super kindly.

Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium is 1.1 km from the property. Free private parking is available on site. We stayed for five nights, and it was absolutely amazing. The apartment was spacious and clean, and the bathroom and toilet was of great standard. It was obvious that the people behind this place have done this for a long time because they had thought of everything. There was a manual, and sometimes video instructions for all the things that you would have doubts about, such as the drains or the check in procedure. I felt like the communication was clear and expectations towards me as a guest were clear too. We wanted to prolong our stay, and the hosts responded very quickly and were just very kind at every touch point. Unfortunately the place was occupied during those days, but it just tells you that the comfort level at this place is great. The Ocean Expo Park has a free entrance right across the street, and they have in-park busses that can transport you directly to/from the aquarium, if you dont feel like walking/driving those few kilometers and pay for parking. And its a very pretty walk too. The kitchen was impressive with a big American fridge, large kitchen counters, easy for cooking, however, we mainly visited restaurants nearby. Either by the food court, the beaches or in other cities. The beds were lovely, and it was amazing that the place had a washer and dryer. It was super easy to use with Google image translate, and i loved that there were hangers to use on the back-side balcony. There was a huuuge tv, which had Japanese channels. Im sure it could have connected to different devices, but we didnt try that.
