The air-conditioned rooms provide a garden view and come with a wardrobe and free WiFi. One of the nicest hostels I have ever stayed in. Is perfect if you're looking to stay in a chilled out hostel where everyone is mindful of each other, quiet and considerate. Sam, the owner, is such an awesome guy and will help you out with anything you need. This would be one of the only hostels really giving back to the community around it, and trying to do things here in Sri Lanka the 'right' way. Hope to be back here in the future!

Boasting pool with a view and views of pool, Sri Lanka Surf Villa Domus Graziella is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Ahangama, less than 1 km from Kabalana Beach. With garden views, this accommodation features a balcony. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. We had an amazing stay here — everything was truly excellent! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive; both the young man and the older gentleman working there went out of their way to help us and make sure we were comfortable. We stayed in a five-person room that had two double bed and one single, plus a shared bathroom. The room was spotless and very cozy. The bathroom has an open-style concept, which might not suit everyone for a long stay, but since we were there only for a few nights, it wasn’t a problem at all. Also, there’s a separate restroom downstairs near the restaurant, which is convenient. Breakfast was one of the highlights — they prepare your eggs exactly how you like them, and there were also warm chocolate-banana crepes, fresh fruit, and various drinks. Everything was fresh, tasty, and served with care. The pool isn’t very big, but it’s clean, refreshing, and perfect for cooling off. The garden area is lovely and relaxing, ideal for spending quiet moments outdoors. The beach is about a 15–20 minute walk away — not too close but definitely walkable. On top of all that, it’s an excellent value for money. We honestly paid much less than we expected for the quality of service and comfort we received. It’s a great price-performance option, everything about our stay was pleasant and satisfying 👏🏻

Susanna and Tusharo (please excuse me if I’m misspelling the names :) were wonderful hosts. Welcoming and informative. It really felt like our own house. Spotless clean, equipped with everything a traveler needs, beautiful nature around, a garden well kept. Another great thing is the hosts really care about animals and Tusharo shared fascinating information about the connection local people share with the sea turtles (we got lucky and swam with them). The beach has some great surf. Would love to come back and stay more.
