It's a beautiful and spacious house with a lovely view of the surrounding natural area with many bats flying around at night, which was amazing to see. We were greeted with welcome drinks and were happy that they arrved dinner until 10pm. We only stayed a night but would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommend!

The accommodation features free shuttle service, full-day security and currency exchange for guests. The host and his family were very accommodating and welcoming. They were all lovely to be around, the gentleman gave us some good recommendations and helped with transport .. The stay felt like home. Clean and comfortable, the wifi was really good and we had a really delicious breakfast. It was about a 30 minute walk into the city down hill, 5 minute Tuktuk back up for 200-350 SLR (uber or pick me). The bathroom needs a little love but it was a very good value for money and we both really enjoyed staying with the family. I would book again.

We had an amazing stay at Chandi Mahals!! The hosts hospitality was truly exceptional, extremely kind and helpful man who went out of his way to make sure we had a good stay. The included breakfast is delicious and such a treat to enjoy home cooked Sri Lankan meals with fresh homemade juices too! He is more than willing to drop you to local attractions and gave us a list of things to see. He arranges it all! Honestly the best place we’ve stayed after a month of traveling Sri Lanka.

Villa had all amenities and was kept exceptionally clean. It was just a 1 night stay. Wish we had stayed longer. and caretakers led by Raj were exceptional. They took care of every need. Food they prepared for dinner and complimentary breakfast had great taste and went with our specific needs. Can't ask anything more. Would highly recommend.

I was so happy that we stayed there. First and most important is the manager Maxi, a generous and kind man who helped us with everything and we were surrounded by care for the whole visit (short unfortunately). The room itself is huge, we had 1 big living room with king bed and another small room with queen bed with bathroom. Very good shower with constant well pressure of hot water. The balcony is lovely with spectacular view to the hills and local houses. Breakfast was on the open terrace and very tasty with fresh juices and nicely cooked eggs. Once in Kandy I definitely come back to the place as it is well maintained and the management is really taking care of the guests.

It might be tricky to find it but the view from the window is worth it.
