The staff took such good care of us from the moment we arrived, Suji, Jay and Sana especially, but everyone was so kind and helpful. They have a small van to easily drive you into town or to activities and to pick you up whenever you’re finished. Sana recommended several local activities and took us to beautiful photo spots. The hotel room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the view of Lion Rock our bed was magical. There is a restaurant on site and the pool was refreshing after hiking up Lion Rock on a hot day. Seriously one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! 10/10

Wonderful and nice owner who is very helpful. Dinner and breakfast was another highlight. I can only recommend staying there - it is on top only a 15 minute walk to Sigiriya rock.

Excellent address. A real human experience meeting Raku and his family. We were lucky to be there for New Year’s Eve. Raku invited us to play a special game you only play for the occasion. We got to meet the whole family, even visited with the uncle and brother who live in houses behind the guesthouse. Such a generous and welcoming family. The guesthouse has a beautiful garden where meals and breakfast can be enjoyed, which we did for both days. And the pool of course is the best! After a hot day of excursions, what a treat to enjoy a dip in the pool under the coconut trees. We truly had a memorable experience and we know Raku and his wife ensure the best hospitality with all their guests. Don’t hesitate if you want to meet genuine people and discover more about this amazing country.
