The host and his family could not do enough to make our stay so very special. A welcome drink on arrival was such a nice touch after travelling and very much appreciated. The food is exceptional and home cooked at a very good price including curry and rice (4 types of curry) or kottu roti or fried rice. Breakfast is amazing - Omelette, pancake with coconut and honey and fruit with a choice of a pot of coffee or tea. The room is a very good space and has a lovely outside seating area to while away the day or evening. Good location for Lion Rock and there is a local community shop 4 minutes away for convenience goods. The whole experience is in the name - Relax Nature. A very calming, tranquil and peaceful location with excellent service and attention provided by the host. Very highly recommended..

Anusha is an exceptional, warm and welcoming host – we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Galaxy View Homestay. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. Our room had great air conditioning. The pool was a great vibe, very clean and a relaxing spot to chill out. Anusha even bought out mosquito coils to keep us comfortable when we were sitting and enjoying a drink outside in the evening. The home stay is a short 15 minute drive to Pidurangala and Sigiriya rock, making a great spot to start the walk nice and early in the morning. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast of fruit, roti, bread, tea and coffee. There are several eateries within a 5-10 minute walk of the homestay, as well as a small supermarket/shop and an ATM. We only stayed one night in Sigiriya but absolutely loved the place and would’ve stayed longer if we knew it was so good!

We felt very welcome and extremely comfortable in the room. It was spacious and had good facilities. The location on its own is fantastic. You have an amazing view on lions rock, right behind a rice field and if you're lucky, there might be an elephant walking around. The location seems kind of off the road, but you can easily access everything by foot. Breakfast was also very delicious and we had something different every morning. Highly recommend to stay here, if you visit Sigeriya.
