we spent 5 incredible nights at the island house hotel. incredible staff, stunning pool and rooms. i loved the workout classes. the private beach is easily one of the best beaches we’ve been to. the overall vibe is relaxed and low key which was perfect for our family holiday. we can’t wait to come back!

Nous avons tout aimé ! Le logement, le cadre, la décoration, la propreté, l’accueil et la générosité d’Amillo (dit Kinson). Ir was an exceptional experience! After years of experience with Booking and Airbnb, I can say without hesitation that Amillo (Kinson) is the best host we have ever met. His warm welcome, attentive support, and seamless check-in made our stay absolutely perfect. He is more than kind—he is truly wonderful! The accommodation is a true haven of peace: calm, relaxing, just a few steps from the sea, and beautifully decorated with great care and taste. Even the outdoor space is a sanctuary of serenity, designed for ultimate relaxation. Everything is meticulously arranged to ensure maximum comfort, and you can feel the attention to detail in every aspect of the stay. Plus, the place is spotlessly clean! We only stayed for one night, but I wish we could have stayed longer. I would return here without hesitation, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect stay. On top of that,Kinson is incredibly easy to talk to, making every exchange a real pleasure. If you’re hesitating—don’t! Book without a second thought! The quality of everything was excellent - above expectations. The staff were just SO friendly from check in, round the pool, housekeeping, the restaurant. We've never been to a hotel with such friendly staff Room fittings are excellent and it was really comfortable. USB points by the bed and really fast USB on the desktop. Great Wi-Fi around the entire resort. If you're from the UK be prepared for sky high prices but thats the island rather than the hotel. One night we had a KFC delivery which was $78 !!!!!!! If you go out for dinner a cab each way will be $20-$25 without a tip The pool is the best I've been in in my life (and I'm 73 now). Its 1.3m all over so ideal for me as a non swimmer to just stand in and relax. Views over the beach and the sea. Watch the cruise liners coming in and out. Just perfect The resort is at the right end of the beach as the waves are gentlest and it has the least loose eel grass.

We stayed at the hotel for only a short time, but it was enough to have a truly positive experience. First and foremost, our check-in had to be done at 10 PM due to a significant delay with Bahamasair. The front desk staff - DAVRIAN - warmly welcomed us and even arranged for a pizza since we were starving. At checkout, they provided us with fresh fruit, even though breakfast service hadn’t started yet. The hotel offers airport transfers and rides to other areas of Nassau at a very reasonable price. While the building and furniture are a bit dated, this actually adds a certain charm to the hotel. Throughout our stay, we were treated with exceptional hospitality. We highly recommend the Ocean West Boutique Hotel!

Very nice resort, loved the small lagoon inside the resort and all the hammocks, access to a really nice beach. Staff is super nice and helpful. Many restaurants on site (most of them with an amazing view on the turquoise water) and also a really nice café (best cappuccinos/cortados on the island!). Best location on the island, not too far from the airport, quiet area away from the crowded touristy part of the island filled with people from the many cruise ships but easy access to public bus if one wishes to get around.

really nice property with a swimming pool and just in front of the beach, the room (girls dorm for 4) is really big, with a huge sofa, table & chairs and a big kitchen with all utulities, fans and AC, really big bathroom (2 sinks, 2 showers, 1 toilet), cleaning every day, and its really close to the prettiest beach and the airport. I had a reaaly nice stay in Viking Hill and would recommend it to everyone!
