The farm is an oasis in Murbad (a small census town near Malshej Ghat). It consists of several Balinese villas (each self contained with a pool, villa and outside entertaining area) and glamping tents. We stayed in a villa and had the entire farm to ourselves. The staff were excellent in attending to every need and the food was varied and very tasty. We were also keen on a couple of treks around the area and Roshan was an excellent guide for two great treks. The whole experience felt very homely and welcoming so we would highly recommend Nehamrit Farms if you are planning to stay in the area. We had a personal tour of the farm that showed us the enormity of the produce farmed there.

The interiors blended traditional charm with modern comfort – plush bedding, elegant curtains, ambient lighting, and a well-maintained ensuite bathroom with all essentials provided. What stood out most was the attention to detail and cleanliness. The housekeeping team ensured everything was spotless and well-arranged each day. Service and hospitality were top-notch. The staff was courteous, quick to respond, and always went the extra mile to make our stay more enjoyable. Whether it was arranging a boat ride or suggesting local spots to explore, they were knowledgeable and accommodating. We also loved the poolside area, which stays open till late – a rare and thoughtful offering. The restaurant served delicious meals – from local flavors to dishes, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. For those looking for a peaceful getaway with luxury, nature, and culture combined, the Lake View Room at Maharaja The Royal Resort is an unmatched experience.
