The property is stunning. Beautifully surrounded by nature and with some very cute farm animals. The place has a special air to it, really making you feel home and at peace. To top off, the couple running it are just fantastic. Super friendly and at our total disposition to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We will come back!!!

This is a quiet, nice place to stay in the middle of the wineyards. A lovely garden, stunning view on the mountains, friendly staff. Karin is always there for a chat, and if you need anything it is being taken care of. Breakfast is accoring to African standard, excellent! Rooms are clean and spacy, inclusing airconditioning. Free Nespresso in the room. Honesty bar available with a large selection of drinks. And do not forget the swimming pool and the pool beds. Put a bed under the old oak tree and take a powernap!

Turning of from the mainroad the entrance is already beautiful then once you enter via a gate the property, the garden is so nice and well maintained. Then you see the building, simply gorgeous, inside and out. The staff very friendly welcome. The pool area, breakfast, the 2 managers, Luke and Leon interacting with the guests it all made us feel special!

This was my second time staying at Spier and I loved it just as much. The whole estate is beautiful and you should definitely book a wine tasting and try their food/restaurants, too. The "hotel" consists of charming little houses with spacious and cozy rooms with large, bright bathrooms. One of our highlights was the huge breakfast buffet!
