The best experience. Spent 12 days on safari over 5 lots of accommodation, some basic and some the top of the range and this was by far the best experience. Small beautiful in/keeping camp with only 3 luxury tents, and the staff were just great. And importantly, so were the animals. Animals at all times treated with respect by knowledgeable, cool, calm guides Hardus and Niel. It was simply the best. Great cooking too Hardus 🍖. Plenty of water holes around so you will see animals, close by too. Day and night. (Worth noting not all parks had water sources or they were dried up and so, naturally, the animals were elsewhere.)

I had the most wonderful 3 night stay at iMbamuweti cottage! The cottage was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything I could possibly need as I was self-catering. The location was perfect—peaceful, idyllic and wildlife walking literally outside the fence. As hosts, Mike and Laura were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring I had everything I needed. The attention to detail was evident throughout the cottage and I especially loved relaxing in the private garden next to the splash pool. The cottage was cleaned daily, and a fire made up for me outside each day. Game drives were organised through the main lodge and I did two of these in the afternoons and had incredible sightings with very experienced and knowledgeable guides. I will definitely return and stay for longer next time. I highly recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone looking to relax and take in the sights and sounds of the African bush.

Meals were great. Rooms are large, comfortable and very clean. Michel & Aruna were very welcoming and have a wealth of knowledge about the animals, birds and area. We had elephants in the garden and left tea half way through to go Lion spotting

Phomola Manor is an oasis in Greater Kruger with a stunning garden of succulents greeting you as you approach the house. The property is frequented by a spectacular range of birds from iridescent sun birds to a number of owls spotted from the comfort of the garden during our stay. Lindie is a fabulous host who has gone to great effort to furnish the manor with everything we could possibly need for and more. She kindly arranged a wonderful meal on our first night on request. We had some wonderful game drives in Grietjie with very experienced and knowledgeable guides organised by Lindie. We also did a day trip into Kruger which was very easy to do. The highlight during our stay was going on a bush walk with Eugene. His infectious enthusiasm and abundant knowledge were so informative. Approaching a pride of lions on foot and a safe close encounter with elephants got our hearts beating and created life long memories.
