No, it’s not à la carte – but every chef and kitchen assistant gives their heart and soul, and it shows! We really don’t understand how some people leave negative reviews. Of course, you can’t please everyone – but for us, it was perfect. Truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. And the pool area? Simply amazing! Super clean, relaxing, and every evening there were beautiful activities for the kids – one night movie night, another night dancing, then painting and crafts with the children… just so sweet and full of love. Special shoutout to the pool bar – wow! Every team member there had their own charm. The young woman in the morning was always funny and full of good vibes, making our day start with a laugh – and her cocktails were on point! And the man working in the evening? Despite all the stress and busy moments, he always stayed so friendly, calm and kind – and made the best cocktails. Just wow! We were welcomed by Mary, Resarta and Raul, fantastic and kind guys who immediately gave us a warm welcome. They explained to us all the services and meal times. The rooms are spacious, equipped with all the comforts. In the bathroom you will find shampoo, shower foam, body cream, toothpaste and toothbrush, even a manicure set. There are 2 restaurants, one buffet and the other à la carte. In the buffet restaurant, you will find chef Atilla with his staff who will delight your palate. The chef is a very kind person, he welcomes all customers with a smile. The dishes are delicious and the restaurant is full of all kinds of food! Every day you will find fresh salad, variety of meat and fish, local cheeses, sweets and fruit. And then the chef creates works of art in the watermelon. He cut the watermelon peel and made one with my face. What a kind thought. Thanks again chef . The resort has a SPA too where you can relax. Included in the price of the stay there is the swimming pool, sauna and Turkish bath. Other services as massages are obviously paid. In the à la carte restaurant you can eat well and you don't spend much but the right price. The pasta is well cooked (and I'm Italian) and the pizza can be improved. The service is good, but here too you can improve and get better 🥰 Here, I had the pleasure of meeting the director Aminka, a woman! Between women we understand each other immediately! Don't expect to see several "hit tourist attractions" like Eiffel Tower, etc. Tiran is a city where you enjoy local dishes at clean restaurants, hospitality, smiling faces. You can visit several recommended places with historical and cultural importance. Traffic is better than I expected. Urban transport is easy as you can pay in the bus (no need to download an application or buy a card). You can spend a few days like the locals. Hidden gem.
Hidden gem. Pellumbas is only 30 min from Tirana bud it is actually beautiful small village with superb views, especially during sunset. Hiking treks are in nearby mountains, one trek leads to huge interesting cave and start directly frim the village center. Local people are very warm and welcoming. It's inexpensive here, the sea is beautiful, but there are no attractions. And the biggest problem is cleanliness. There is a lot of trash on the beach, a lot of open trash cans, in some places it stinks of sewage, and in one place something is leaking from a large pipe right onto the sand on the beach. If you stay at a good hotel, you may not notice any of this. I love the weather, the friendly people, their generosity and the amazing food which is reasonably priced, especially when eating in a restaurant serving local food. It is a happy place, full of amazing energy and surprises! It also feels very safe and very welcoming to foreigners! Mount Dajti is seen almost from everywhere you are in Tirana and it is very special seeing it from wherever you are in the city! After almost 2,000 km traveled by car in nearly 30 hours due to countless traffic jams, we managed to arrive home without other problems, but of course extremely tired—yet with beautiful memories, to which you also contributed with your kindness and the valuable advice you gave us. We learned, with your help, that Albania is a beautiful country, still in a period of reconstruction, full of wonderful and hardworking people, always ready to help you with everything they can. But perhaps the most important thing is that they have not forgotten that Romanians and Albanians have been, and still are, brothers. We are connected by both past and present. The first thing that surprised us about our host was the outstanding cleanliness we found inside the apartment. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with absolutely everything necessary, air conditioning in every room as well as in the kitchen, clean bed sheets, immaculate white towels, etc. It has happened to me to stay in luxury hotels and not find this level of perfection. About the hosts, we have only words of praise. Even before our arrival, they checked if we were all right, if anything had happened, and during our entire stay they were always there for us—at any hour—through WhatsApp and even through Mr. Nardi himself coming to the apartment in person, even though they live quite a distance away. We were pleasantly surprised that we even had free sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. At our departure, they even offered to help us if we needed anything.
