Unlike many of the touristy hotels that are located in the town of Puerto Iguazu (which is not a beautiful town), this hotel is located in the middle of the forest, half-way between the airport/the waterfalls (which are not far from each other) and the town of Puerto Iguazu. The hotel is constructing new bungalows, we booked through Booking.com and had the chance of staying at one of the newly constructed rooms. The views, the furniture, the cleanliness, all was just wonderful. What is really great is that the hotel offers free activities to its guests (like birdwatching, bicycle excursion, a walk through an indigenous town with a local indigenous guide). The Iguazu area is very touristy and all activities are expensive, it is great to see that this hotel is not taking advantage of it and still offers free activities. I would also recommend eating there, we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant and the quality of the food is amazing!Guest review byCarlaSpain

We had 4 full days. - Day 1 was raining so we went to the shopping mall on the Brazilian side - Day 2 + 3 were at the waterfalls on the Argentine side. - Day 4 we went to the waterfalls on the Brazilian side. Very disappointing stay — standards have dropped dramatically From the moment we arrived, the experience was chaotic. My daughter arrived at 1 am, and when staff took her to her room, it was already occupied by another guest. Later, while waiting for a taxi, staff mistakenly sent the taxi away. At 9 am, I requested clean towels — when I returned four hours later from an excursion, the towels still hadn’t been delivered. When I raised these issues, the manager seemed more focused on mentioning his qualifications (“licenciado”) and praising his staff than acknowledging that further training was clearly needed. To be fair, the staff were generally polite, but the management and organisation were disappointing. We first stayed here five years ago, and it was a wonderful experience. Sadly, in 2025, it’s a completely different story. Poor management, lack of accountability, and disorganised service. While the city itself might lack in essential tourist items to check off the list, Posadas was one of the friendliest, most welcoming, and all around comfortable small cities I've visited and as a base for seeing the nearby Jesuit ruins (as opposed to visiting them on a day tour from Puerto Iguazu, and with a day trip to the nearby Trinidad ruins in Paraguay—the most complete of the Jesuit Missions—if possible) anyone who has a few more days should opt for making their base here for a little while, strolling the downtown and costanera, enjoying the laid back vibes, and interacting with the lovely people.Guest review byNoelCanada - 10.0

We were at Puerto Iguazu for two nights to visit the falls and could easily have spent a second day in the park on the Argentinian side if we had had more time. The riverside boardwalk is lovely.
The riverside boardwalk is lovely. A great path to walk, ride bikes, or exercise. There were many spots without much shade from the sun, but you could go at certain times of day. There a great restaurant and cafe options in Posadas.Guest review byStephanyArgentina
