The staff were very friendly and engaging. We had a wonderful dinner at the attached restaurant. They patiently allowed us to sit and play games as a family. We had time to kill as we were waiting to take our daughter to a local activity. We were grateful to sit in a beautiful setting.

Nicole and her family are fantastic hosts! The entire place is simply great. All people who worked there and the guests as well were very pleasant folks. I will gladly come back. Amazing view towards the Dachstein mountain, a lot of cross-country skiing, Schladming is very close ( we went there for The Nightrace as well as some skiing and relaxation), everything was simply one of a kind. I will come back there for sure again!

the hotel is just in the center, 5 min walk to Planai staff is very helpful, always similing and hard working. there is plenty of food in breakfast. we had our dinner in brunner rest for 2 nights, the food was delicious. Apart from all these, Petra the owner of the facility, many many thanks to her. She fulfilled all our requests. She is always on her job with smiling face and kind attitude . Spa area is just a place for meditation, well designed and extremely comfortable. our room is big enough for a family of 3. it does not transmit any sound from the next room . we had one of our best ski holiday, thanks to Brunner Family

The staff was kind and welcoming, and the room was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared with handwritten notes to greet our family. Every detail felt personal, even at breakfast, where our family name was written on the table. We travelled with our dog and at the room there were also pet supplies waiting for us.     ARX guest house is a wonderful place to stay if you're skiing in the schladming area. Just an extremely short walk to the trails at Hochwirzen. Couldn't be more convenient for skiing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel was modern and clean with fantastic views. A great breakfast was included, and you can actually eat dinner at their in-house restaurant. Another great feature is that they have their own ski rental shop on the ground floor. High quality equipment in excellent condition.

    We have enjoyed the staying in the hotel a lot. Hotel services are at the high level. Staff is friendly. We had half board with all inclusive drink option. We recommend this combination for all who want to do treks in the country around. Meal was good - no disappoinment. Moreover, a few meals were super exceptional - paella with seafood, and nougat balls with fruit sauce. I can't ommit mentioning and recommending wine. Wine was good

    We loved at stay at this hotel. Nothing is spared. They even offer fruit and drinks by the swimming pool for free and the cake time at lunch was a delicious surprise. We've had a wonderful short stay there with our two small children and we are looking forward to our next visit. The hosts are wonderful and their effort is reflected in the high quality of the accomodation.

    The location is excellent, is in the centre of the station with all other interests (bars, restaurants, rental bike/equipment for ski. Breakfast was various and we enjoyed the atmosphere.     We didn't eat out much as accomodation had a very well equipped kitchen. Public transport was punctual and free with a Sommer Card provided by our hosts. All lift passes that we used were free also. The only cost was a booking fee for getting up to the Schladming Galcier. (PREPARE TO QUE FOR THIS ONE). Be aware that shops are closed for religious holidays etc.

    Gosau had everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing holiday - a grocery store, multiple restaurants, beautiful views, friendly people, and many trails for hiking, biking, and walking. Additionally, Gosausee is only a short drive away. We didn't leave Gosau during our entire stay, as there were plenty of things to do, including just relaxing.

    One of the most beautiful places on this planet.

    One of the most beautiful places on this planet. Easy to get around with the Ramsau am Dachstein Summercard and the bus and gondola systems. Loved the gondola to the top and the Sky walk, the Stairway to Heaven and the Stairway to Nothingness. Also liked Rittisberg and its attractions such as the Flyline, toboggan and High Ropes. The Go Karting down 7 kms of the Planai mountain was also fun

    Golling is a long established small town on the Salzach river and a good base for exploring Salzburg and the nearby hills / mountains. Hotels are in the small town centre plus camping and camper van facilities nearby. Rail travel to Salzburg and on buses in Salzburg is free for holders of the Tourist Card issued without further charge to people staying at Golling hotels, This facility has recently been extended to other buses and trains over a wider area, Golling Waterfall and the canyon (Klamm) on the Salzach river attract visitors, There is a Water Park close to Golling.

    Nice old town to walk around. Have some nice restaurants like the Indian restaura, Namaste. Very authentic Indian food with good service and atmosphere. Another restaurant is Genusskramerei. This restaurant has a small but exclusive menu. Upmarket.

    What were your favourite places there? The Sommerrodelbahn, The Cable Car, The Postalm Panoramastrasse and the drive through Fischbach. What we highly recommend is a nice walk through the town and surrounding places itself!! This is a very very pretty place. Where did you eat? We cooked ourselves. However, we bought groceries at the Spar market in the town. Is it easy to get around Abtenau? Yes. The town is very accessible. We, however, did not use the public transport. What would you avoid on your next visit? Nothing really. The place offers a lot of things to a tourist!

    This is a small, but modern (albeit with mostly traditional architecture) village in the Salzach River valley south of Salzburg. It is a quiet friendly place, not appropriate for big-time skiing, but great for walks and hikes in te surrounding country-side.

    Recommendation:

    Recommendation: For kids - Geister Wald (Ghost forest) - 4,5km long hike with fun activities for kids. Our kids loved them. Just to be aware - you need to pick up from the info center a map where kids could get stamps and also you need 2euro coin to get a wooden ball from the machine you can find just at the start of the hike. Small store - very helpful staff, all the basics you need you find there Waterpark - great nature pool to chill with kids
