Absolutely fantastic accommodation, clean spacious apartments. Phenomenal breakfast, great selection of quality ingredients, from a diverse range of juices to a selection of salami and cheese. You can order omelette, scrambled eggs or hamenex. I recommend trying their ESS bar restaurant for dinner - it deserves a Michelin star. Extremely helpful staff, including the owner, who always talked to us at the bar and took care of the guests. Great respect - one of the best accommodations we've been to.

The stay in Hiltpolt has been marvelous: a friendly and fast service at all moments, a very spacious room, all was very clean, a nice indoor swimming pool and a large sauna area, and above all excellent breakfast and dinner in the evening. I particularly appreciate the freshly baked eggs, served at your table in the morning. The hotel is also very centrally located, easy to reach from the train station and not far from the skiing and sport facilities. I will return with pleasure!

    Wow - just wow. We where blown away by everything. The room, the food, the pool, the mountains, and of course the staff. We arrived and immediately checked in and shown to our parking just beside the hotel. The room was large, clean and had a balcony overlooking both the mountains and the cozy square situated right outside the hotel. We where traveling with our small dog Leo, who can't be left alone. The staff was beyond helpfull, with solutions to accommodate our needs. They also took the time to say hi to Leo, which were much appreciated🥰 The surrounding area had a lot of stores, restaurants and coffeeshops. All though we found it a bit pricy. we had half pension, so we ate at the hotel restaurant, and boy, we where not disappointed. Several dishes and each one very delicious. The breakfast was A-MA-ZING. Best one we have had I Austria👍🏼 A big thanks to the staff for making our stay fantastic.

    The two ladies at breakfast were so pleasant and made every effort to make sure we had everything we needed. Made waking up a pleasure. The breakfast buffet was the best we've ever had at any hotel. The lakeside lounge area was also special. The rooftop spa area was tastefully done with views over the lake and mountains, although a 2pm opening time for the sauna felt overly restrictive.

    Great base for exploring the several mountain ranges nearby. Great tourist information centre with helpful staff, a useful train station with trains to/from Innsbruck (and even München in Germany), several supermarkets and a good range of restaurants and cafes.

    We hiked along the western shore of the lake, up to the Alm that was there. I wished we had had the time and better weather to take the gondola up and hike around in the lofty heights. There is also a hike we want to go back for. You can take a bus west, up valley to another alm, and hike back, or hike both ways. It's a pretty long walk so the bus is a nice option

    Reith bei Seefeld is a tiny little hamlet outside of Seefeld. While beautiful, the location had nothing to offer itself. It is a short bus ride into Seefeld. We left every day by bike or car to explore other areas.

    Loved walking the Parish Trail (Pfarrerbichl) with scenic views of the town and lake (and religious interest if so inclined). Nanni’s had a delicious goulash & apple strudel; Cafe Nouveau had a spicier goulash, even better! Batzenhäus had great local food. Several good grocery stores in town to use for picnic lunches on hikes.Easy train ride to Mittenwald (ride the Karwendelbahn!) or Innsbruck if the Rosshütte is not appealing to you.

    Pertisau is the location for the (fictional) Chalet School (the first book, The School at the Chalet, was published 100 years ago in 1925), so anyone who has read the books will find it instantly recognisable, even today. Even without that link, the Achensee is a wonderful base in which to spend time in the Austrian alps, with plenty to do and see in summer. There are fantastic walks in the area and hotels and guesthouses offer a free travel card which can be upgraded for less than 100 euros to a week-long holiday card offering free travel on the ferries, cable cars and the famous Achenseebahn, as well as free entries to the local museums in Pertisau, Achenkirche and Maurach.

    Reith by Seefeld and the surrounding is a magical place with beatiful nature, scenery and a smile on the locals face. We came with our 2 young daugthers and we found the place fit to our needs.     Have been is Seefeld 3 times until now, twice in winter and once is summer. Excellent place for vacation or short stay. Hotels and facilities are modern, mainly built in 1960's for Innsbruck Olympics. Seefeld has cross-country skiing and big warm open pool if compare to other surrounding resorts. Easy transportation to Innsbruck and Munich.

    A beautiful unspoiled natural area, lovely welcoming people. The scenery is so stunning. So few British people seem to visit and we don’t understand why! It was lovely in summer, swimming in the lake, and in winter we returned for walking and skiing.
